  Formulaic. They cooked the formula. It feels played out cus their sound was everywhere. That's like saying Queen is sounds formulaic lol. That being said yeah this album is definitely made to be more broadly appealing compared HT or Minutes to Midnight. But also not liking Nobody's Listening and Faint is crazy

  Made to Parade will grow on you over subsequent listens. it's actually a recurring theme throughout the album... i was only mildly impressed at first... now it's climbing up the rankings of albums for me big-time. LC & SFTD, then ITNR right on SFTD's heels.

  i know this is old, but the songs Brad likes least are the ones with Mark Lanegan on vocals (i.e. the graveyard howling and the vox on Hanging Tree). this is a classic QOTSA album, and ALMOST a concept album. the comments below explain it well enough (the drive from LA to Palm Desert, where Joshua Homme is from originally). i could only add that the drug references fit the driver having taken pills, etc. on the drive...

  First house party I went to in college, I met a guy 8 years older than me and we started talking about Radiohead since we were both fans. He had me guess his favorite song and I nailed it on the first try (it was Bodysnatchers). I think he fell in love with me right then cause he immediately asked me out.   Best part of this whole video is easily Brad calling out Dynamic for spamming and not making sense...only to realize that Dynamic was just trying to tell him his mic was in the frame and it was distracting, and Brad had to walk back his callout while chat was demanding Brad apologize and steal his own soul.
