Looks real good. Can't say I like the Spider Monkey thingy walking but not moving. Like the animation doesn't work with reality. Besides that it looks mint.
Animations are still far work in progress. Devs have also said a couple of times that they would like to make leg movement procedurally generated, but the possibility of it would depends on success of their upcoming kickstarter

somehow the red player in down corner did not really much, until the end... if he does more help the upper player on his teeam he would not get so overrun with navy

Eat the cat and start the game already. Red isn't a good colour... you cant see the ratings on a small screen. green is good.

Thing at the end is annoying; builders won't assist things like a billy nuke if your ACU is damaged. Instead, they try to repair it.

Quote "2025 at the earliest" which seems about right, based on my experience in this video. There's clearly a lot left to do, controls, commands, sounds, multiplayer, replays, icons etc.
game looks fine, but im worried about the icons and general UI, if you cluster your army and zoom out its getting messy. The Icons are nice and big, but the symbol is hard to see if you zoom out. Also Tech 2/3 indicator is still a joke, there is one small line below the icon ? I dont have the time and apm to look at this during a game.

What makes you think I made the stat up? Channel lifetime breakdown in the male/female stats, at 300k views and it's legit 99.9% male, meaning we get about 3-5 ladies per video.
Could the mass extractors be changed so we can visually see the upgrade? Right now it just looks like a grill no matter the tier

mas nodes looks better then previous video I watched, i dont need to squize my eyes to see them. Commander icon is to similar to tank icon, I think. Default autorepeat setting should be an optional for sure,
I use to love watching FAF casts (Gyle and Brink).
Those icons are supper bugged lol.
Thanks for covering us! The Total-War style formation drag is also my favorite. But I also build the feature, so I am a little biased :P
It could be made better ZeroK way, where you can curve your line!

The feature is second nature by the second time I used it. Genuinely good. Now if you can somehow curve it as well, imagine!
@@ciCCapROSTi We also want the ability to curve lines, but we are still unsure how this should affect the formation. There is still much exploration to do -- which can be difficult to do with our limited funds. But I look forward to working more on it!

It is called Supreme Commander Forged Alliance Forever for one good reason. Because there is no need for a successor. The only thing I miss is the first person view and control of the commander.
Supcom FA/FAF is severely outdated with its game engine, and it can't be fixed - it is only a matter of time until a successor is needed. Sanctuary is gonna introduce a lot of QoL features, optimization, and easier structure for modding. If most of stuff goes as planned, it will be better than FAF. Let's be real - nothing is forever, and it will have to go, earlier or later.

if they can just make faf that will be free of connection issues i would be very happy
Those connection issues waste at least 2 hours of my spare time every week, searching for replays that might be castable. Too often, when a player has con issues and/or drops, the replay desync at that moment. There's at least 2-3 good games per month that I would otherwise love to show, but never get casted owing to this, as the ending is almost always completely messed up, every minute after the desync gets increasingly wonky!
@@trururum Thats the problem - it is impossible. Why? Because this is the core game engine issue, and to fix it you need the source code, which todays owner of it refuses to give or sell for a reasonable price.

This looks very interesting, can't wait for an open beta or alpha to start! Judging by the minimum and recommended requirements, it should run on integrated graphics just fine as well, big W
One thing I would love to see is the change in icon style. This icon style is similar to planetary annihilations. I prefer the sleek, tight, low but clear border style icons from Supreme Commander/FA.
I agree the icons are not that great yet. There's still a ways to go, and I know the team are desperate for feedback, so the more comments (and there's been a bunch) about icons and such, I'm sure they take note. Let's hope something more intuitive takes hold.

No, but that command I believe in BAR also, is very useful. Perhaps it will get implemented in some way shape or form. Combine that with the split/spread move command would be the icing

Yep, you can. Go to their Patreon and pledge 1 month at full whack, and in helping them get to the finish line, you'll get pre alpha access. It's not cheap, and it's far from finished, but if you don't mind playing survival and/or want to help them, it's available to all.

It seems that "TheWheelieNoob" (green in this game) is not actually TheWheelie (AKA Farms). He's actually Bullydozer. I think maybe TheWeakie is the real wheelie? I really wish these top players would stop changing their names so often...

I've always wanted to watch SupCom since I got into watching RTSs I never played starting with Sybert casting C&C3 & RA3, so thank you!
I highly recommend supcom or FAF as it's known, the reason why I love it so much is the array of moves and tactics, and the speed at which a comeback has the potential to turn a game on its head.
I have tried to get FAF installed i have linked my steam account but i cant get FAF to download i have BAR downloaded and ive got Dawnless days the MOD for Total War Attila but i cant get FAF to work i will just have to keep trying i really wanted to get into playing FAF ill stick to BAR till i get it sorted love checking out FAF replays
I installed and played a little. Try to follow instructions on the faf website. I used Steam path.
Visit faforever.com and it should be easy enough, or visit their discord for help
UK whinge about weather... I spent 6months getting fit to move to my farm only to have 6months of rain... you guys know nothing about weather... UK is like the whingy Victorians we have in Australia.. OMG we(rest of Australia) wish they would all go back to the UK where they obviously come, nah come anytime we need a laugh.
is there an option in this mod to make the energy shield reflect the colour that the individual player picked as a player colour? Edit: like in command and conquer tiberium wars.
