When you have someone like Atlas on your team, you really don't need enemies. What an annoying, negative guy.

I have never enjoyed seeing a player slowly hang themselves before, not in hundreds of casts that I've watched over the years. He squandered advantages at about the same rate that Shady Socks did everything he could to support his teammates. He could have helped JT steamroll mid but that was the wrong way to win it seems... so he lost "his way".... kicking and screaming the whole way. How some guys get rated 1900 is beyond me, really.

That Atlas guy is more toxic than the dude in Robocop that drove into the toxic waste container.

Missile subs have had that range for as long as I can remember. Just seems people have finally realized how useful they can be.

It's always baffled me that you never see them used. Sure, they're very expensive for the dps they do, but the range is so enormous that you can usually bypass defenses and strike undefended buildings in the back.

The range appears to be (perhaps someone can correct me) even greater than the torrent class Aeon T3 missile ship?

@@fafcast Looked at the wiki - range for the Torrent is 200 and the range for all missle subs is 256, so ~28% longer range.

Atlas is 1900 ranked at FAF, but surely 2500 ranked at whining. Yeah JT didn't follow the meta but he had middle locked down early, had 2 coms injured and on the run, and with just the SLIGHTEST support from his team would have been sending experimentals across the isthmus. Entirely different game. Meanwhile Atlas does absolutely nothing useful until 55 minutes in. Doesn't even make a single T3 arty or T4 unit whole game. Makes a ton of ASF's but can't even defend his team from opposing air. Sad.

I kinda like the little swells of music in your casts, gives them a cinematic feel

Sad to see that the green player litterly talking smack but does nothing and im only 21min in. while the light blue player has to 1v3. Edit1: 27min in, yeah green guy plays soo bad in my eyes (typical big mouth no skill behavior) he deserves to lose. Edit2: 44min in, green trying every excuse in the world to make him look better while being very toxic. i would not play with him, only against. Edit3: yeah green is 100% the type of player not admitting he did a mistake at any point in the game. im glad he lost.

JT supporting south navy would have changed nothing, as Gulmo and Satoshi would just build navy as well JT hold them basicly in a choke, but he got no support and run out of ressources Atlas was the issue, as he didnt adapted to the situation at all and got swept by the nuke

As others have suggested, goto faforever.com and there's a getting started menu at the top that explains with a quickstart guide on what to do - basically you need to download the forged alliance FOREVER client from the website (free) and it will hook into your game, and do all the patches and updates etc automatically. Plus, once you've done it, you can play with us, and if you get any good, maybe I will get to cast a game of yours too!

If a player stalls on eco, missiles are one of the first things that really take a hit. I'm not sure if that was the reason on this occasion, but it's really important one doesn't stall (mass or E) for any length of time in the later stages

Tactical Comment

So I've watched hundreds and hundreds of hours of this game casted by others I think this was my first time watching one of yours. You got your own style, your timing and skill with the background music will hit hard one day. BUT you got the team numbers conflicting, the scoreboard saying the opposite of what you're saying. That was the only "major" criticism I have for you. Otherwise good work brother.

Thank you very much for your comment. I hadn't actually noticed until you pointed it out, that I got the team numbers backwards - I shouldn't have any excuses on this map, seen as I played it hundreds of times back in the day. The thing I find confusing (which happens often, granted) is every map swaps team numbers around, so sometimes left is team 1, sometimes top, but almost as often it can be the south or the right hand side. Corners, most typical setup I think, really is 50/50. If I'm reviewing more than 1-2 games before I find one to cast, my brain sometimes begins to hurt. To mix things up even more, the precise scores from FAF lobby (which I use for the balancing stats) in the game/replay/stats section, often shows the teams backwards way on. Not always, but often enough to be confusing, so team 1 in the stats is often team 2 in the game. The workaround is simple enough, check 1 players name, and his team, both in the stats and when the game starts, then verify this is the same, or has switched. I'm gonna try stick with the nations idea again, in the future, to hopefully avoid this!

After winning position, you still have to win the game. Atlas, you are not entitled to having lackies participate in the meta you like. You seem like an unemployed keyboard warrior or a single child who was never told "NO".

Atlas wins the price for being the most toxic guy in faf. Terrible to watch in replays every time. Hope he'll be soon banned. That great community doesn't need ppl like him.
