Even though this isn’t technically an unboxing channel, I end up doing a lot of them because I’m always buying new dolls. Other than that, I’m just here to gush about the dolls I already have and to share my many displays.

@@pamelagilbert8077 I love it too!! It’s the perfect summer outift. Unfortunately she’s a doll I change a lot, so I don’t get to enjoy any outift of hers for too long a period lol. But then when I put it back on her, it feels new again.
The josefina mold is one of my favorites. Of the folks that you have, I also have Josefina, Tebecca, Grace, Lea and Evette. Have you seen Evelynroseag’s KZread video on all the different skin tones, face molds? She made an incredible spreadsheet where you can inventory your dolls (from a drop down menu so you don’t have to go hunting your dolls) and then at the end, you can see pie charts of how many if the different skin tones, face molds, etc that you have in your collection. It’s a really great tool to keep track of your collection.

Yes I am that South paw too……..l.you have now found people who enjoy the rambling, me I call it giving information to others that honestly want to know your life of dolls. I have these dolls but my other love is Liddle kiddles by Mattel if you are familiar with them. My family know my love for toys it is my world of comfort and yours too.

Thank you for sharing your stories. My story is I had a brain surgery in September 2023 plus a long road to recovery. All those times I neglected my dolls and I’m beginning to bond with them again and it has brought me joy. 🌺

@@Alixthecollector that means a lot to me for a couple reasons. First, Kristie is the first and closest friend I’ve made on AGTube, so I love when we’re associated. Second, there’s no doubt in my mind when people see my videos, they should see anyone can do this! Also, it’s a lot of fun lol. Sure I was nervous and a mess in the beginning, but I don’t think anyone else would be to that extent lol.

It's so interesting hearing you talk about your life. I often ask myself what it is that makes me love, obsess about, and collect dolls. I agree with you that it brings back comfort, and innocence, and good memories. I love your little Cabbage Patch doll, and your tiny Care-bear, and what they mean to you. I bought the Barbie Styling Head for my Julie, because I had it as a kid and loved it. If I could have chosen a Truly Me when I was a child, (had they existed then) I would have wanted one with Asian features, because that is what I thought was the most beautiful thing in the world!😊 Thank you for sharing.❤

I love the crossover, which is why I preordered the LE Barbie coming in November . That’s what I love about collecting now - not just as an adult with my own money but because there are so many different looking dolls. 🥳

I didn’t get into how grotesque it was at certain times or comments that were forwarded to me by orhers. But it was strange! Not that it had anything to do with me, so I didn’t take it personally. Apropos of nothing. You think you're weird ? I was reading the comments and started to read the titles of other videos in the side bar to find what I wanted to watch next. I’m left handed too! The Tom’s bag and the little cabbage patch kid are soo cute!! 🥰 I loved this talk, thank you for sharing more of your life with us! I really relate to “remembering how it felt” and wanting to be a comfort to kids in our everyday life. It’s always confused me how fellow adults seem to forget how things seem and feel from a child’s perspective! 🫶🏻😅 I try to be the adult I wish I had in my life to my nieces and nephew. My wife and I became homeless twice. Because we trusted the wrong people and I've just let it go as that. But lucky thing. We were living out of our car with 4 dogs. They're tiny ones. Thank God but when I had my dolls they help me escape the situation. I was in. I could think of back stories and I could play with them and I had Spin master. liv dolls Katie, I got her in a thrift store with some wings she was my favorite. I came up with so many different stories for different wigs that I should wear.
Oh no, twice?? Sad to hear but it’s amazing you bounced back from it. And I can relate to the escape dolls are from bad times - they’re also great companions for good times. I’m glad you’re doing better! And yes there’s no point holding on to resentment. It’s just poison.

IDK why, but I'm so tickled by your sudden fascination with Samantha. For me, she's definitely the one doll whose face varies the most across time. She's not a doll I'm particularly drawn to, but some of them look so, so sweet. This was a really nice haul and added a lot to your burgeoning Sam collection!

I just got my #127 a couple weeks ago. I call her Sidney (a name from my family tree) Iliki (from the book "Hawaii" by James Michener). I think of her as a descendant of Cecile. She looks fabulous in pink!

Based on my childhood, I had clothes like Julie's skating outfit (including the tennis shoe skates) 1980-82.

This diner (both versions) are so fun. Do you plan to add her jukebox (or do you already have it)? It has 6 songs, I believe.

Funny you don't like seeing the cloth bodies of your dolls. I don't like the eighteen inch doll genre. I hate big, over-sized heads and soft bodies on any doll. Blythe and Pullip dolls are my worst nightmare. But ... oddly enought I do have two eighteen inch doll lines. I have a couple "Life Of Faith" dolls and I have two "Magic Attic Club" Rose dolls. Both of these doll lines are full body vinyl, and "Magic Attic" bodies are much slimmer. Rose is suppose to be Indigenious, that's why I got it as well. Speaking of which, I've always had my eye on AG's Kaya for that reason. I love it but, I probably won't get it. I just can't get past the big head and soft bodies.
@@kevincook8888 I’ve never seen a Blythe or Pullip doll out of box in person. They don’t appeal to me, but there cute, so I see why they’re fun for others. And for the AG head size, because my first 18” dolls were Disney ily4ever and Healthy Roots, AG heads seem normal in comparison 🤣 But yes the weird joints around the cloth body and the stitching around the neck really break the illusion for me-but I don’t think it bothers other collectors. I only know about Life of Faith dolls because someone (I really don’t remember who now) did a video on AG “rip-offs”. Magic attic club I’ve seen pics floating around but didn’t know what they were (I googled them to see what you meant lol). Kaya is beautiful but if you’ve resisted AG this long, don’t do it! 🤣
They are all lovely! The Josefina mold is my favorite and I actually have more Josefina mold dolls than you do!

@@donnamcclam hey Donna 👋🏼 How do you protect her hair for the trip?? I considered putting hairnets around her pigtails but decided to use multiple hair elastics instead. And yes 🙈 I was about to buy a backup Claudie. For a minute I forgot I plan to use my current dolls if she ever gets more outfits. But the price was right!
@@DisBlaine lol…..(a good price will get you everytime). I keep the hairnets and I found bucket hats from the my life dolls along with keeping her in the red American doll carrier when I go to Disney or home in Chicago.
So basically if i see a AG doll at TJ Maxx it wasn't popular. I have seen a couple there including the one with the blue hair. I haven't bought one let unless you count the two Wellie Wishers i have. Don’t have the space plus even on sale they are still expensive. That Meet outfit the Julie wears now gives off Our Generation doll vibes.

I’m sure you will find another opportunity to try it on her. Lol. I am pretty easy going with my dolls in that I don’t mind minor flaws. I feel it gives them character and uniqueness. Still it can be alarming to catch only one eye of a doll while walking by. Ha ha. 😂
