Hi Blaine! Such an amazing collection of classic sculpts. I believe the difference between the historic Caroline and the Beforever is the eyebrows. Historic Caroline has very light almost reddish eyebrows while newer ones are darker. Mine has the lighter eyebrows. I feel like Samantha’s face has changed the most over the years even though they are all classic mold. I love your PC Kirstin so much! I just want to pinch her cheeks! Molly yay!❤Harper is lovely. So much fun as always. 🥰🙏

Ohhhh so then I do have historical Caroline. Her brows are red compared to the pics I just googled lol. Good to know the difference, thank you! I feel the same about Samantha! When I got this newest one home, I was googling pics to make sure she wasn’t a GT (maybe 13). I have 3 PC Sams now, and none of them look the same. Haha yes my Kirsten is perfectly chubby. But one day I’ll try to find a spooky Kirsten like yours. Unless she’s one of a kind of course.

Isn’t it amazing how they add up?? I had to rush this video because I was worried I’d be trying to share 50 videos in a video soon 🤣 After collecting all these years, do you have a favourite sculpt? It’s actually hard to rate the classic mold because there’s so much variation!

It's wild that you have so many Classic mold dolls. In our collection, our most popular mold is Josefina, followed by Sonali, Addy, Jess, and then in fifth place is Classic. The third Samantha you showed was my favorite of your Sams.

It’s hard to pick a fave with Felicity but it would probably be between her riding outift and her Christmas gown. I don’t want Elizabeth at this point, but I’m tempted to put Felicity in some of her clothes… but I know where that will lead 🤣 I’m glad you enjoyed seeing them Robin 🥰

You have no idea how happy I am that you might put that pinafore on Samantha! Isn’t it the sweetest??? But that means you technically have to thank lady Rebecca fashions for giving me the idea lol!! If you mean TM21 looks like she’d be my daughter, thank you! And she looks a little like my cousin when we were kids pahaaaa! As for Caroline’s hair, I think she’s the one with the secret. When I brought her home, she had messy hair. I planned to fix it one day… but this was how it settled inside my display 😳👀 Maybe she was just happy to be loved lol!

Classic mold is one of those that kind of sneaks up on you... it's still my least favourite mold (either that or the Josefina mold), but I can fully recognize that there are some hella cute dolls with the classic face mold. I have the most of the classic mold, too, but that's because I was/am primarily a historical collector, and... you don't really get a choice when you're a historical collector. I love several of your classic mold dolls - Mariella, your 21 Charise/Sharise, Lupe - and I love to see how you've continued to grow your PC collection. I always really enjoy videos that showcase a collector's full range of a particular mold; I think it does actually highlight that, though dolls may share the same face mold, they still can look very, very different. (To an extent... there was a time in the Truly Me line [or in its older names] where AG just kept releasing blondes, all in a row, and I genuinely cannot tell them apart.) Thank you for sharing this!

@@eliseelliot I think if I had seen the classic mold from the PC days, I would’ve loved it a lot sooner. Even tho I have so many now and LOVE a few of them SO MUCH, I don’t think it’s bumped up on my mold ranking at all. (3rd least favorite), but it really has charmed me. The changes it’s gone through! I don’t understand why mattel wants them to have such big roud eyes lol. Not just classic dolls either. I just saw a tm4 recently returned from the hospital. Not even the same doll!

@@DisBlaine Ohhh, I think I saw the same #4 - on Insta? Yeah, it's kind of wild about the ways they've been adjusting the eyes for all the molds over the years. I wonder if that just seems to sell better with kids? But generally, yeah - I prefer older classic molds to the newer classic molds. Give me chubby cheeks and more realistic eye shapes. Some individual dolls have made me fall in love, but the mold still ranks low for me.

Your 3rd Samantha is the closest to the 2 I have. It's crazy that none of your Samantha's look the same!! In the previous video when you debuted the 3rd, I was like now you have a Samantha with small, medium, and large head sizes. Couldn't believe how much the size has changed for her...Wow!!

@DisBlaine I think you need to buy a mansion and turn it into a doll museum and give tours. You could have an entire shelf just for all the Samanthas...an entire wing just for AG, an entire wing for Disney...with each Disney princess having her own room. And all your prized dolls would be in a secret room behind a bookcase activated by turning Kirsten's head to the side, and only special vip guests get special access to see those. 😁

Thanks for sharing the classic mold dolls. I am still learning about face molds. I never really thought about having a favorite mold. Congratulations on Molly and her skating outfit. #12 and Samantha 3.0 is nice. You have NO self control when it comes to the dolls. I am here for it and I cant wait to see the lot of clothes. I never likes Felicity Riding outfit because of the color but it does look beautiful on her. Overall I love the PC/AG clothes. that is my weakness.

I laughed way too hard at your no control comment 🤣🤣🤣 I think if I had gotten to know the classic mold through the PC dolls, I would’ve liked it more to begin with. It took me a long time to tell them all apart! Changing hair and eye colors can change the entire face.

Caroline is one of my faves besides Claudie and Kirstin. I don’t think Spooky eyed Kirstin is one of a kind but apparently harder to come by? It’s a collector term just like the dreamer eyes so who knows. I have a Samantha that I think is a dreamer too but other sources have said that only Molly and Kirstin had “dreamer eyes” My Sam is definitely in dreamland. Lol!

I also thought Kirsten and Molly only has dreamer eyes, then other people made me think my Sam was a dreamer - and now I’m convinced 🤣 I’ve seen Felicity with these dreamer type eyes too I think. I’m sure spooky Kirsten is nearly impossible to find, so I’m not getting my hopes up lol. Caroline, Claudie, and Kirsten. Such a unique combination for top 3, I love it!

Classic molds are my least favorite. I do have Felicity, Caroline and Molly as historicals. Lanie, Mia and Saige as GoTY. You have a lovely collection of classic mold dolls.

@@DisBlaine Kailey is one of my favorite Doll's she's a Great Doll to add to your collection. One thing to look out for is that some Kailey dolls and Also Nellie dolls have a defect that their vinyl/Skin turns orange. Mine is totally fine. One good thing about her collection it's very small which is nice compared to current GOTY's her collection is Boogie board with bag/case , wetsuit, Snorkel set,bathing suit, Towel and Sandy the dog. I reread her book on Internet archive cause I don't know were my book is at and I don't know were my Kailey stuff is at. I need to get her meet outfit. She's still wearing her necklace and bracelet she came with. I don't know were her little Beach bag purse or mini seashells went that came with her.

@@DisBlaine I'd change my dolls Clothes Alot when I was younger and put it somewhere in storage. I don't know where mom put it in storage. It's been a long time ago. The important thing is I have Kailey and she's fine I can always buy her outfits again if mom can't find her outfits or Boogie board

@@AmericanBoyCollectAmericanGirl welllllll my PC Addy is already in transit 🥴 Do Kaya and Kit have squishy head versions? I thought they were made during the transition period, so I assume they have hard heads. And yes, I don’t have OCD, but I am obsessive compulsive (no disorder, just tendencies), so I get really fixated on something, get my fill, then focus on the next section of my collection. It’s how I enjoy collecting lol.

@DisBlaine oh...I'm not sure on that..,I was just shocked to find that Kaya was Pleasant Company...I knew Kit was during the transition, but thought Kaya was the first character for Mattel, but I guess it was actually Julie or Rebecca. The only reason I found this out was I ended up having to get the doll to get a better pair of moccasins for her Jingle Dress of Today, and the stamp on her neck says "Pleasant Co 2002". I just put our Kaya in the outfit and noted ours says the same thing.

I checked our Kaya the other day, and yes she does have the harder vinyl for her head. I can't get to Kit at the moment to check her, Oh, I just got Nanea...I think I got a good one. I did a quicky video introducing her, but haven't had time to do the full unboxing of everything I got.

“They made me” instead of “my only option” is exactly the right frame of words I would use!! 😅❤ Your Kit is really cute!! The instant way to tell if Caroline is beforever or not is this: Beforever release happened in 2014 and coincided with the longer body tags! If she has a longer one, she would be Beforever! 🫶🏻

Ohhhhh that’s what those longer tags mean!! I should check my melody too. Someone told me my Caroline is historical because she’s got the lighter redish eyebrows. I should check the tag to be sure.
