@@pamelagilbert8077 I love it too!! It’s the perfect summer outift. Unfortunately she’s a doll I change a lot, so I don’t get to enjoy any outift of hers for too long a period lol. But then when I put it back on her, it feels new again.

I love all your videos and this one was great for a lazy Saturday afternoon. I love how excited you get, because that’s how I would feel if I were opening them. I’m glad you showed the new outfits because I probably would never be able to buy them and it’s so fun to pretend through you and see what they would really look like on my dolls. They always look different than the web site photos. Thank you!

Based on my childhood, I had clothes like Julie's skating outfit (including the tennis shoe skates) 1980-82.

Congratulations on three months. You’re much braver than I am. I keep thinking I should start a channel. Of course I was thinking it five years ago when I was deep into scrapbooking and paper crafts. Most of that stuff has gone off to new homes and it is financing myAmerican girl purchases. I can’t wait to see what you have in those boxes.

@@barbarawalsh2875 I used to really active on Instagram, but I didn’t even like including myself in pics of my dolls, so I don’t know how got on camera! Must’ve been denial, like I convinced myself I’d be kind of invisible because everyone would be distracted by my dolls. Come to find out some people actually play my videos as background NOISE, like listening to me talk 🤣🤣

Thanks Blaine for showing the new collections. I love everything. I probably won’t get the new dolls because I only have space for one of each character although I do have a couple of duplicates. Julie’s Jump suit is so groovy. I may pick that up. I would really love Kirstin’s birthday outfit. So sad that they don’t ship to Canada. Your stand in dolls were really cute, especially the one in Josephina’s birthday outfit. You must have had so much fun opening all that. How exciting! Thanks for sharing. 🤗😊

Hey Cheryl! I had no room for these dolls too-so I’m taking down the mirror behind me in the video and putting up shelves. Are you very far from the border? For me it’s worth the 1.5-2hr drive every month or 2 to pick up dolls. And yes, this haul unboxing was such a rush I felt drained after, like a sugar crash 🤣

Actually I am not too far from the border. I have a doll friend who orders stuff to a postal box in the US. I am going to ask him if he would order some things for me. I am not big on driving or going across the border. I find it a bit stressful. I’m sure your displays will be beautiful when it is all finished! 🤗

Another lovely presentation! Congrats on your beautiful new girls, and I LOVED watching you dress each of yours girls in the outfits!! The school outfit is absolutely perfect on Ivy - it even has a few colours that are reminiscent of her original outfit!! Hard to say which is my favourite, but I think Julie's school outfit and Kirsten's birthday outfit are my top two - and record player is brilliant - they did a nice job replicating popular 70s genres. My favourite is the country rock record! I agree with others' comments - your kindness shines through in your presentations, and I feel very happy and at peace watching your videos. Congrats on three months on KZread! Very nice work!! 🌼🕊️

I always want to ask in my videos but I feel kind of shy about it, like I’d rather let people say whatever they want without making them answer questions lol. I was really surprised how much I loved Kirsten’s bday outift once I put it on tm100. And THANK YOU! Mentioning my kindness is such a compliment, so I hope that means there some truth to it. I’m glad you enjoy my videos! I’m getting more comfortable talking for longer periods of time (uh ohhhh!)

I would call the skin tone a more clay colored. Wonderful collection! I was a 70's gal in HS (grad 72') and College (76')and that music is not 70's to me. Just some thoughts but I do need to go back again. I just don't remember those songs and I worked in a record shop during college.

Clay coloured. That’s a good way to call it. As for the music, it feels more like an homage to the era. I really enjoyed it though! But yeah it’s a bit on the parody side, just not in a mocking way.

I actually appreciate the “dead air” because then I know how long it takes to dress the dolls 😄 So you might already know this, but just in case you don’t, all the original dolls, until Josefina, did not come with socks or shoes with their birthday outfits. But when Josefina was released, they also gave her shoes for her birthday outfit so since then, the dolls had shoes with their birthday outfits.

Haha i feel the same about wanting to see things in real time (not sped up), but usually I can gab enough to fill that empty space lol! I don’t know when I learned that the bday outifts came without shoes, probably not until after I uploaded this. But maybe I did know and so many people were kind enough to explain that now I don’t remember lol. But I definitely didn’t know Josephina’s outift came with shoes! I probably didn’t know about the others not having them come to think of it. Otherwise I might’ve mentioned it when I talked about addy’s book cover 🤔

Congratulations on all your new American Girl Stuff! I will purchase Josefina part 2 because I bought the 35th Anniversary Josefina doll, but I took out her braid because it had so many flyaways. I will buy her at the American Girl Nashville for my birthday next month, not taking another chance for flyaways this time.

Kirsten was my daughter’s very first one that I bought her. Then came Molly, and finally Samantha. I am not sure whether it was Felicity or Addie that came next. I’ve already told you Allison had 18 dolls over the seven years that she collected them. Then she graduated to Tiffany jewelry quite frankly. I still prefer the dolls. If it wasn’t that I have banned myself from buying any blonde hair blue-eyed girls until I add some diversity to my collection. I’ll have to hold off on Kirsten. The day Allison came home from a friends house, and the braids were out of Kirsten‘s hair. I almost lost my mind. I mean those are words you could’ve engraved on my tombstone at that time do not unbraid the dolls hair it went for Kirsten, and it obviously went for Molly.

Info...I'm up to Josefina's accessories...you have to remove her sash to attach her pouch to her outfit. If it's like the older ones, there should be something on the back of the pouch to slip one end of the sash through. You then wrap the sash back around her waist and re-tie it in the back. You should then be able to reposition the pouch to the desired location, or you can also reposition the pouch before re-tying it off.

Ahhhh okay. I noticed a strap on the pouch and figured it was for her to hold like kits clutch. Once I get their shelving up, I’ll sort them out better. Thanks, I’ll try what you said!

More info...Julie's floral jumpsuit used to be pared with her classic meet sandals, the new ones used to be part of her patchwork outfit.

@DisBlaine Yes the original did not come with shoes, you would have had to use her classic meet sandals to finish the outfit. This was popular in the earlier Pleasant Company days, that you had to use the meet shoes and/or socks/stockings to finish the outfit.

@DisBlaine Also, the dolls don't always match the book cover...if you take Kirsten for instance, her Birthday book has always shown her birthday outfit with her Red Boots, never her Meet Shoes or her Two-tone Boots. And the boots to her Changes For Kirsten book cover have never been made for the doll. I just made a video going through most of the Historical items that just came back, comparing the May 2024 catalog with catalogs from the 90s and 2000s. Hopefully, I can get it finished tonight or tomorrow.

FYI: What you're referring to is actually "hook and loop tape". Velcro is the name of the company that originally invented "hook and loop tape". I sew, and I despise hook and loop tape. I agree, it does cheapen clothing. I too collect Integrity Toys dolls, I'm so glad they still use hooks, zippers, buttons, etc. I'm an old guy, and it was a sad day when Mattel started using hook and loop tape on Barbie Clothes. Worse yet, Sekiguchi is now using hook and loop tape on Momoko doll clothing. Quality be damned! Sad.

Oh yes you’re definitely not alone in the Integirty community! Most collectors prefer the hook closures. I wish the threads they hook into weren’t so camouflaged sometimes but I see why many like that system.

Questions...Do Josefina and Kirsten have laces or something else on their shoes?? My older ones had strip-es of leather for Josefina and yarn for Kirsten. Also, does Kirsten have the new face mold?? I couldn't tell if it was the old or new from the catalog.

Oh it’s definitely the new face mold for Kirsten! Do they even have the old ones anymore? I can’t tell if they’ve evolved or just been replaced. I didn’t notice yarn on her shoes (I can check tomorrow) but I thought Josephina had faux suede laces.

Do collectors usually keep the boxes to these new AG dolls.
