I genuinely don't understand the usefulness of this kind of plugin. When mixing, we typically use devices that we are extremely familiar with, and we know what great mixes sound like on them. I struggle to understand how changing the eq in a way that is not familiar to you can help you make decisions about your mix. Like, I've been using my sennheiser headphones for 5/6 years now. I have listened to countless records on them. When mixing, on top of using reference tracks, I have years of practice listening to well mixed music through these phones. On the other hand, I don't know what a great mix sounds like in the 11" tablet setting or the car setting of this plugin, so how can these settings possibly be useful to me? It seems very counter intuitive. Just for clarification, I'm not trolling or saying that the plugin is trash, I am commenting to explain my thought process as to why I struggle to see a plugin like this as a useful tool, but I'm very open to getting other opinions on the topic if anyone would like to reply. Thanks!

The same project, Studio one 52%Cpu, Reaper 2,5 Cpu... The end! In ITB era, there the comparation end, at least for me and I have PT Ultimate, Cubase 12 and Studio One 6, but I always mix in Reaper for this reason and stability.

Don't forget that Studio One relies on quite a lot of plugins and addons for it to become fully fledged, so the price for S1 will definitely be higher than Bitwig in the long term.

Thanks for a good informative video. I've been checking out Melda Productions plugins after re-watching another video kzread.info/dash/bejne/dqt8o8Sam9vIcqg.html Really literally no limit territory in terms of creative freedom and quality. And right now there's a sale witch I'm gonna get in on. Hope someone finds this useful.

I had a similar issue with my keystep pro, but even 99% IPA wouldn't fix it. If anything, it made it worse, leading to more unresponsive keys. Had to get the heatgun out and reflow the solder of the components on the back of the keyboard PCB, wash the contacts with soapy water and give it a good dry. Also noticed the ribbon cable had some bent metallic strips, so had to straighten them out. Only then it worked perfectly.

I have an issue where the FX I used won't work. I just renewed my subscription and I reinstalled the app and after I open up the song, a list with vocal FX (Pro EQ, Compressor, Room Reverb, etc..) that are missing pops up. When I go to the channel where they are all listed, I double click and is says ,,This device is not installed on your system". I have no idea what is goign on, neither do my friends, who have been working with the app for a longer time. Can you maybe help me?

I find it easy to listen to what you say, really educational! Thanks! I would be delighted if you could make really short informational videos, like how to do various basic things when working with Studio One, for real beginners and people like me who love to do it but don't understand how to use the program to the fullest. Like when you're in the middle of the process and just need to know one thing quickly to be able to continue working, if you understand! For example, I want to learn how to reverse a crash or a piece of a vocal track, or how to save your favorite sounds in a separate folder. There are far too many chatty videos that never get to the heart of the matter, take forever to watch and then you still haven't learned anything! As long as this post-thanks for the word!😃

imagine this : you pay 400€ or 398 $ and then you see what? still only those 5 Instruments like in Artist. yes you get more stuff like a vocoder or the newly added chord stracker or what is it called but they seem to miss the main thing needed to make music and that is instruments. now my question to presonus would be why should i move from artist to pro when i could go for half the prise to ableton standrad or even less then half the prise to bitwig and geuss what : both come with way more things allready onboard and both are not even the pro or studio scale verson yet you get 13 instrumnets with ableton and so far i could read out also on bitwig producer ! i am happy with artist yes because i have not the huge budget like do those whom presonus pay to promote their software or maybe they got it even all for free so i have to stick with as less cost as possible since i do not make no money out off my music but i kept it and do all i can to keep it a hoby or passion if you like but if i truely had the budget why studio 6 pro when still only 5 instruments and that for a mindblowing 400 euro ! do i realy have to pay that huge amount of money for a hoby or passion ? no i dont ! could i if i had the moeny ! yes i could but here is the catch : i probably would not if i have the money and i was to chose a proffesional grade daw i rather would go with Cubase or ableton or i would go with bitwig or combine cubase pro with a standard ableton or a producer bitwig ! they seem not to get it how to do bussiness ! i am pissed for example by BlackMagic design for the issues with davinci resolve but i tell you this : they know damn well how to make a outstanding bussiness by havin a fully featured resolve version with some hollywood grade stuff excluded because if you make money with your work, and you was happy with what you had, you will actualy go and buy the better version right ? well i am pissed by BMD but if i have the money for a realy good GPU you do not realy think i would still go with capcut ! either Vegas , which i have fallen in love with or Davinci Reslove Studio because i was with DR happy and am with vegas happy but presonus thinks not futher then up to the edge of the plate : if you have the fully featured DAW not as " atist " version or a " pro version " but a DAW having all it needs cut in two like DR : a free version that for example has no mater page and a real big fat daw that has all the stuff available for a reasonable prise i still think if BMD are smart people they are gonna come up with their own thing that is a DAW and in the same time a DVE and then i wanna see how presonus and the likes pack their things together and leave ! i hope BMD does think about my ideas i have written to them via email so many times and i hope they read this and again : BMD : imagine adding to your DVE a fully featured DAW which exists within the same Software and exeseble via one single button : do you realy think full pro Producers are gona higher a guy to make their Music Videos ? no they are gonna do both themselfs thats what i told you guys via email sooo many times ! i wish Black Magic Design listens and comes up with the thing i suggested : i will be the first to buy it because i am tired of aaaalllways rendering my Music track first and then mastering and then again openin on a DVE : i wish i could do all at the same spot in the same program at the same time and that is what i suggested also to presonus but they dont care at all instead they truely seem to move toward subscription only and thats a nooo go for me ! i want a daw that i dont need to register first to use but i istall that thing via a code like it was in not so distant past times and run it and make music ! but today everything goes with email and guess what! pray that you never get hacked because then your daw is gone and you need to prove you got hacked ( happened to a guy i know and to his reason studio daw : no chance to recover shit and they also do not care at all but tell you " we are sorry to hear that. we are not responsible for your security and we can only offer you a new activation key " well guess what you have to pay another 450 euro ! i hope BMD goes another way and makes the daw of all times and does not deliver it with " you need to register first " but with a code free to move to whatever email you want ( that was how samplitude and seqoia worked and that is so far i know how the new Samplitude X pro or suite do work but it may be they changed also to the email bullcrap ) however i am pissed . yes i have only artist but at some point in time i will have maybe the budget to get a daw with more festures so why should i throw my money down the presonus throat when all it has a 5 Instr. i rather go pay to bitwigs producer or ableton standard or if i realy have the money i would go wich Cubase unless presonus changes the policy and gets rid of the plus bullshit

Thanks for the review. I'm still trying to learn to use waveform free version. Had problems with Ableton lite free version always crashing. Tried calkwalk but sometimes can't get any sounds from it. Maybe my skills and patience not adequate. Bandlab the online cloud version is easily the go to daw for me, but it lacks serious tools to make a professional sounding recording. I think the cloud based BandLab should be modified and armed with serious tools, and that could be the one.....but then again the business end needs to get paid somehow.
