I live in a mid-sized city and someone asks me how I am doing niceshopx all the time. It's not annoying but I'm always surprised when they ask
I'm so glad my Dior bags are all vintage early 1980's but I dont plan to buy luxury Dior bags at the moment.

I had a Delightful MM that I gave to my sister. But even when I got watermarks on the strap they weren’t super noticeable imo.
All northern Italy is filled with factories of all sorts of brands that have MADE IN ITALY tags on their products. But do not be fooled, they employ cheap Chinese labor not Italian craftsmen. Remember how Covid started in Northern Italy right after Chinese new year of 2020 after all workers returned to Italy from their holidays in China. I was in Italy then and remember that we had 2000 plus deaths daily. No wonder why if they work and live in unsanitary crowded facilities.
In one of her more recent videos Sophie said that she heard that this particular factory was making the book tote. I do think that the Italian government needs to take some responsibility in this instance too. What are they about allowing Chinese factories to operate sweatshops in a first world country, when it’s well known that this is what Chinese companies do? It’s not just luxury that has been tainted by this but anything made in Italy.
This is irrelevant. LVMH is headed by the wealthiest family in the world, and answers to shareholders, not customers. Prior to these abuses, they were abusing French & Italian workers paid minimum wages for high level craftsman ship. Would you work for 20 euros an hour to work a 40 hour week on bags that sell for $10,000? Even the LV workshop in Paris pays poorly.
Lix purse, Fashionphile and TRR sell these bags for same price as new.
LV, Gucci are all probably using these workers unless each brand is independently managed under the LMVH umbrella

I wonder if my Dior bag will go down in value. While I don’t like what Dior did I still love my saddle bag 😢

This is disgusting and quite frankly I dont understand why people would spend 5000$ for a bag that is worth 150$ max. I think this is a sign that people want to feel high class or important but this way too much power given to a bag or any luxurious item. Louis V bag costs thousands of dollars and people are ready to pay that amount for a plastic bag. This is ridiculous. And I will not buy Dior products anymore.

I can relate that my view has also been tainted and struggling to purchase from those top “luxury” brands. I’d rather be supporting smaller artisans
The crazy thing for me is that Dior has this ad where 'everything' was 'skillfully' made by 'artisans' and people fall for it😱. Who knows how long this has been going.
The Tom Ford trio - the eye shadows look great but one lipstick is Red and the other one looks Purple (?). or maybe that is not the true color.
Yes when I zoom in the other looks purple which would work for me but not the red.

I have the le creuset in soleil! I love love this color! I had to order the last piece, a 2.6 qt Dutch oven from japan bc they discontinued that color!!!
That might be the color my daughter collects. It is the pale yellow and it is so pretty. I hope they bring it back, I find it at the outlets sometimes for her. Glad you got your last piece!
@@LuxPurselove melinda, they have several pieces available through the FTT sale they are having now: oval dutch oven, 3.3 q round wide dutch oven, 2.5 q braiser (which I have and it’s PERFECT for 2-3 ppl), several grills. The prices during the FTT sale is amazing

@@LuxPurselove yes, they are having their FTT (factory to table) sale online currently and there are several soleil pieces available. The Balti pot was enticing but I have a 2.4qt Dutch oven in soleil already that will suffice for making curries, soups.

I found out they are so bad for you and I only use Le Crueset, stainless steel or cast iron. And they aren't hard to clean at all!

They are all very beautiful, especially the Tiffany one. Sadly, I can’t wear bangles. They tend to be made in either round or oval shapes and my wrists are very rectangular, flat on the top and bottom and the sides. I find them too uncomfortable to wear so I have to stick to bracelets instead. Talking about bracelets, I bought a tennis bracelet last month. I have longed for one all my life but couldn’t afford one in a decent size in diamonds. The one I bought is in oval cut morganites in rose gold, 8.6cts, and it was around 5% of the price of a diamond one of the same weight. And I do prefer it. It’s so beautiful and very different. I am a big fan of different when it comes to jewellery.

These mega factories in China sell the most remarkable dupes some 1:1 from the original. It's not hard to believe that these factories get these 1:1 perfect bags due to being used by fashion houses. Food for thought. Love the videos!
