Learning to Reload Ammunition?
Everyone from the beginner to an advance reloading person can find information here on the subject of reloading ammo. Our videos are bringing you the newest equipment, the best content, and quality information on reloading ammunition. You can find many ways to save $$$ by reloading your own ammo. The initial cost seems like a lot of money at first, and then you will see how much you can actually save! There are four main component of a bullet. The brass, powder, primer and bullet make up ammunition. Every time you fire your gun you lose three of these four components. Reloading save one of these items, the brass, and reuses it. Storing your ammunition is another way to save $$$. Always make sure you keep your ammo from moisture and heat, it will break down the ammo over time. Losing 1,000 rounds stored improperly would lose hundreds of dollars.

Mine did the same thing
I will visit !!
When using a hole punch, you should use the end grain of the wood, I use a short peace of 2X4 about 1 " thick, this will give you a much better cut as well is a lot easer on your punch. I have a set I use for leather mostly and they are well over 40 years old and still very sharp. Never had to sharpen them. Thanks for the very good video will have to find the first one. I have a large amount of 444 brass, so is nice to know.
Where would I find load data for to use the 444 marlin brass as 410.
You’re crimping a bullet that doesn’t have a cannelure! Your COL should place the bullet close to the lands. That ammo is far from being “match grade”.
A 7/16 hole punch is more precise.
new brass, after shot in a 410 need to be resized? or just reloaded?
Nicely done!
Thanks, very interesting and informative!
Great video and satisfying to watch
Did you try that in your rifle chamber too? If it fits
Thanks for a great vid, Eddy. Cool dude. I seek loading guidelines to try making metallic .410 shells out of .460 S&W brass, or possibly .454 Casull. I would think it would better fit a .410 chamber than .44-size brass, without fire-forming? I read an online article at American Handgunner where the man loaded .45 Colt shotshells without plastic capsules, using copper gas checks for wads. I think he used 6 gr. of Unique powder. I realize that .460 S&W brass would not be cheap. My objective is to create ammo that has less shot than a .410 shell, but more power than even a .22 Mag birdshot load, with greater shot size selection. They would be shot from my .410 break-barrels with chokes, and possibly my Rossi Brawler .45/.410 Mostly for snakes, rats or aerial targets. .22 LR birdshot costs 50 cents a round, empty plastic CCI shot capsules are 40 cents each (if you can find them), and CCI loaded .45 Colt shotshells are up to 3 bucks each. Thanks!
A very small mistake can mean a life or death situation !!! Keep you mind on what you doing !!! If looks or feels wrong closer attention is in order !!!
Any small shops do this ??? What's cost per 100 ?
Now add 45 cal.Heavy Cast Bullets with a Rifled Barrel ? An for the big n bad ... Could even go 50 cal ??? Even 8 gauge industrial ??? Wasn't a 6 gauge industrial once available ?
Thank you Sir.
How long do you cut the .223 brass too?
Hot glue seals overshot cards perfect, fast and cheap. Warm the stick with a lighter, dab on the top.
Just running across this channel, great informative video. Liked and subscribed. Thanks
use wax
I’d love to see that part three and how these worked for you.
I use clear silicone caulk to seal the overshot cards. Works great and is waterproof. Just get a small squeeze tube of it, and it will last for many loadings.
NICE THANK YOU
You didn't mention how much wad pressure you used.
Great ressource material. Thanks
Do you still need to debur?
gunbroker and gunshows are amazing for dies...legit half price a lot of times
Can't you use a hot glue gun? It drys a lot quicker.
What happened to part 3? You had my interest peaked.
That was a bit painful, but God Bless you Sir.
The old timers used bees wax from candles or talo to seal the tops of their reloads...simple and easy to clean out of the barrel when the time comes. Talo is best since it lubes ur barrel during the firing process but bee wax is a bit sticky and can be removed with a little heat.
I went with the Buchanan Precision Machine LNL Hand Press. kzread.info/dash/bejne/qnmku7OGlNHeeLw.html&pp=ygUeQnVjaGFuYW4uIFByZWNpc2lvbiBoYW5kIHByZXNz
Please, just tell us which and how much powder, over all length and bullet weight.
there has just got to be a better way to load brass cases
Thanks for postin ! I was thinkin I wanted brass shells for my 410. Now, I know how to get them ! Thanks Dad !
..I used those disc's for years until Lee introduced the adjustable measure.. whatta difference!!!
will these feed thru an ar style 410?
Well done, I have seen some important details, thanks and greetings from Germany
It looks like using that powder measure is a risk of charging a double. A lot safer to have a press charger. Even priming and not checking it would bother me on not seating right or even upside down.
Nice relaxing video I prefer using a hand priming tool but that’s just me, don’t matter really but I find if there’s an issue like an especially loose primer pocket you’re more likely to feel that difference with the hand tool. Enjoy your videos. This is not the sort of thing one should ever do in a hurry and you exemplify that
Wow new reloaders DO NOT follow this guy he is an accident waiting to happen disregard his flippiant attitude towards loads and powder volumes DAMN!
Best using a wad punch on a block end grain on.
You guys really didn't show anything. How do you adjust the cross hairs to to laser. You guys are lame.
Thank you !
Used to reload a long time ago and still remember some of this stuff, very important to get that right, if that round don't chamber properly, you will have issues with proper cycling and even damage your feeding/extracting mechanisms.
COOL,......
That's a heckuva loading bench there, buddy.
Do you think if I trim the 444 shells to the length of a 45 revolver? Might work for shot or any kind of shot?
Maybe just use .45 colt brass? Making shotshells with that brass has been done, even without plastic capsules. Cheers!
If you are experimenting with .300 loads, go ahead and buy a collet type bullet puller. You’ll need it.
Awesome, I am impressed. I enjoyed the tour very much.
