Reloading is a enjoyable hobby. With over 20 reloading manuals and that many reloading books I love reloading almost as much as shooting. Thanks for great videos.

I reloaded a long time ago. RCBS Rock Chucker; I got to where I was reloading for my Uncles and Cousins, and was enjoying “tweaking” their rounds for accuracy as much as I enjoyed shooting. This KZread video is getting me back into it. This guy’s motions, and dedication is positively soothing! Great job, and great video. I’m subscribed! Thank you.

Very clean, smooth, smart well organized shop setup. I can really appreciate learning from someone who cares about what they do enough to make that extra little effort!

Late seeing this I like your solution for tumbling brass. I am going to try pecan shells this fall just because I had a crap load of pecans ran through a ball mill.

Thanks for a great vid, Eddy. Cool dude. I seek loading guidelines to try making metallic .410 shells out of .460 S&W brass, or possibly .454 Casull. I would think it would better fit a .410 chamber than .44-size brass, without fire-forming? I read an online article at American Handgunner where the man loaded .45 Colt shotshells without plastic capsules, using copper gas checks for wads. I think he used 6 gr. of Unique powder. I realize that .460 S&W brass would not be cheap. My objective is to create ammo that has less shot than a .410 shell, but more power than even a .22 Mag birdshot load, with greater shot size selection. They would be shot from my .410 break-barrels with chokes, and possibly my Rossi Brawler .45/.410 Mostly for snakes, rats or aerial targets. .22 LR birdshot costs 50 cents a round, empty plastic CCI shot capsules are 40 cents each (if you can find them), and CCI loaded .45 Colt shotshells are up to 3 bucks each. Thanks!

Do you think if I trim the 444 shells to the length of a 45 revolver? Might work for shot or any kind of shot?

Maybe just use .45 colt brass? Making shotshells with that brass has been done, even without plastic capsules. Cheers!

Dawn dish soap is best because it doesn't have ammonia in it. Ammonia is bad for brass.

All you showed us is how to de prime the 444 cases and how to polish them. Nothing to do with reloading the 444 for use in a .410 shotgun.

a .410 shotgun shell with bird shot costs about 40 cents. a .444 Marlin..265 grain flat nose round costs about $2.00 I think you're doing this backwards. The Marlin casings cost 50 cents each. By the time you get this thing loaded it will cost you over a buck. At 40 cents a round, you can be hunting squirrels, instead of measuring powder.

That is not the cost of reloading. You are looking at it backward.

@@larrytischler570 To make .410 shells from 444 Marlin casings, you first have to buy the casings... right? How much do they cost? The last time I looked they were $1 each.

@@timhallas4275 not for each loading. But each factory load costs you. What happens if you cannot buy the load you need? Then you have to load your own. That is how most people get into loading. It becomes a huge problem looking for ammo, and the cost of new cases becomes trivial. Your 40 cent example becomes an impossibility.
