I really liked the information you provided. Just for fun I turned on the closed captions and they really don't do us people from the south or with southern accents any justice. They messed up every 5th word you said.

So I have this thick sheet plastic, that comes in a roll, i was wondering if i could tripe it up and put it on top of the ammo box before i close it, if that would aid in the 'sealing of it' so water doesn't get it or moisture or anything. Thanks

Best lube ive ever bought oddly enough is cooking spray . Not pam but even the cheap dollar store brand stuff it lasts for a long time doesnt mess up dies doesnt affect powders or primers goes on real thin and makes my brass small like french fries . I swear ive never looked back god is my witness . Try it you might like it

I agree sir, I always buy in bulk; Over the years I have purchased items at the gun shows off of a few dealers and they cut me a deal when I buy in bulk. My primer guy knocks 15.00 off a case of primers, I usually buy two cases at a time. And my powder lady knocks 25.00 off two 8# kegs. I have their contact information and call a week before the show to place my order, when I get there my items already have my name on them. This really helps me budget my gun show visits, because it's like "Toys R Us" for guys. I have also purchased items from www.evergladesammo.com they are great with super fast free shipping, can't beat that with a stick.

Hello Sir, I have a question. I, new to reloading and will be reloading 223/556 9mm and 300 black out. I looking at getting a single stage press, but was wondering out of the big three, which one should I choose. Any advice will be very helpful to me. Also is there a difference in which reloading brass by name I should use. I see a lot forms and video's that say that there is a list of brass you should not use. Thank you for you help.

They are all very reliable, reloading brass for 300 blackout should be commercial not military, at times I cannot get the case neck to chamber size because of thick brass in the neck, I hope this helps, Eddy

Get the RCBS Rockchucker. I have owned mine for about 5 years. It has, and I shit you not, over 30,000 rounds reloaded through it. I could wipe it down, and sell it "as-new". These presses are heirloom quality. Only thing that holds a candle to them would be Dillon, but you're gonna pay for it. For a new reloader, a single stage press is the only good choice.

The only way to buy powder is online, in bulk. It amazes me people buy powder in at gun shows! Why? Place one or two orders a year and save BIG bucks. I get 8 lb kegs for less $160, out the door, shipped, no tax. Pistol powders for $120-$130. Bulk buying is the key to budget reloading.

It depends on where you are. In the united states we have fees up to around 30 bucks on top of the price of the powder if you purchase it online. If you buy it at a gun dealer you don't pay the full price of the hazmat fees.

  • @thetobaccoguy1751

Gods Sheep Correct, but that $30 fee (actually $27) applies to any size order. Thus the word BULK. When you buy 10-20K of primers, and 30-40+ lbs of powder, the fee is quickly absorbed. The lack of sales tax alone covers the hazmat twice over. I place a order around once a year. My orders usually cost about $1,000. Purchased locally, the same order would cost about $1,500. That's a big difference. Check out PowderValley.com. Only place worth looking at.

I will check out Powdervalley, Thanks for the tip. I will say that even on midway if I was to buy 8 lbs vs 1 they give you just enough discount to pretty much eliminate the fee but I do want to also mention that I live in Oregon and here we don't have a sales tax on anything. but again thanks for the tip on Powder valley.

rule Nr. 1 for saving money on everything: Wear Camo, no matter what you do :D By the way, who brought up this vinegar / soap mixture. That does not make any sense at all... Vinegar is sour, soap is basic, so the only thing you do with the soap is turn your cleaning liquid back into PH neutrality... You learn about this in fifth grade usually...
