Personally I always size my new brass just in case one got past their QC, I also check length, and primer pockets for propper size and uniformity, I also run all my finished rounds through the Lee carbide factory crimp die as a seperate extra step to make sure they all fit in any gun out there (I own several 357 magnum guns ), I just a few days ago got done loading about 1700 rounds of 357's all done that way, we all have our little ways of doing things I guess, nice video though my friend, and I just noticed the CH press on your bench, want to sell it, I use the same press for most of my single stage work ( I have an rcbs rock chuker and a hornady lock and load but like the CH much better), I have a Dillon 650 and a Lee pro 1000 (actually 3 of them) for my high production loading but I love that CH for everything else, I just want a backup in case something breaks and I can't get parts.

Hello I'm new to reloading and wanted something cheap to start with and bought one of these handloaders. What is your thoughts on this for a beginner Lee Precision 357 Mag Loader And have you ever used anything like this? Lee Precision 357 Mag Loader

Who made your handle for your press? That sure looks like a nice set up with more adjustment for handle. I have two Lee's 4 hole classic cast like yous and 3 hole I converted to 4 hole. I used Titan Reloading 3D printed adapter for used primers to go down a tube like the cast press. The only drawback is you still have to drill a 3/4" hole for the tube.

I made it, just went to the hardware store a bought a 36" long 3/4 od rod, I used a big vise and a cheater pipe to help bend the round stock where it was needed. I had enough to make two, they work great, Eddy

Great video thanks for sharing. can you tell us why you use only two holes on the turret press instead of using all the stations? I would think using all of a turret press would make this much less labor intensive and still get the same quality ammo. Also can you tell me about your reloading room? Is this a part of your house or a stand alone building and how do you control the temp? I live along the gulf coast of Texas and reload in my garage and it is impossible to do this time of year as it is 120 degrees in my garage.

Since he doesn't have to size and deprime and is crimping when bullet seating that is all he needs to use.

My reloading room is inside if a big 40x 80 barn 16 ft high walls. I built it to store my 40 ft travel trailer. I was about to start building my house when my mother got sick and it took most of every day seeing after her and the farm. 12 years later she pasted away at the grand old age of 88. I miss her. After several years more, it was time to pick up on my house build. It took 5 months to get my new house built and we now have been in it about two months, and are enjoying it greatly. My shop will continue to be in the barn but maybe a/c will be added before this summer, your correct, it does get hot on many days, especially in Texas. I hope to place a few pics of my build soon on youtube so that all my followers can see the latest addition. thanks Eddy

That one is made by rcbs. Midway USA might have them. Lee makes a similar one with a primer tray instead of the tube that is safer. Take care.
