Season 3…yes! My favorite season. Three and four are the best!

Just like the first episode of season one, this first episode feels a little awkward, slow, even drags a little. This is because that's how both Eva and Isak feel at the start. Both lonely, frustrated and bored with their lives, albeith in different ways. Except you get a little thrill at the end. When Isak mets mysterious Even. You'll also notice how different Isak is portrayed compared to the other seasons. In the first season, for the most part Isak was shown as this adorable and happy kid, almost a little brother, because that's how Eva saw him, and that's what he showed to her. Isak was barely in season two, because unlike Eva, Noora has almost no relation to him and he is not part of her imediate circle of friends. In season 3 Isak is grumpy, irritable and melancholic. Of course this is after his father abandoned his family and his mentable unstable mother had a breakdown, and he no lonher lives in his house.

God i forgot how hype the trailer for this season was, brings back all my excitement for this season I love all the seasons but season 3 holds a special place in my heart since it was the first one i watched live, and just general themes of this one. Can't wait for you to experience it ❤

Excited for the reactions for this season! I hope nobody will spoil anything for you. People will probably start talking about remakes to watch of it as well, I don't know if you know about the remakes and if you do/don't want info about them so if you hear people bring up different versions of the show there are other remakes of the plots from other countries and hopefully they don't spoil those either. I just want to warn you to watch out in the comments because I don't know how much you want to know about it and I don't want people spoiling in the comments, hopefully nobody will.

The way I just let out an audible scream when I saw this ahhhhhHH I can’t wait to watch this, it’s so so so good - this was the first series I watched as it was happening so omfg all the memories of waiting for clips to drop and the insta posts and the texts - I was a MESS … I can’t wait to see what you think !!!!

"I don't know what just happened, but I think I like it"... 17:15 Yeah, exactly that! 😳🤩 There's so much I want to say... but I wont, don't want to spoil anything... One interesting thing about the different focus of the seasons; We see them all (the characters) a little different, we see them as that season's character sees them, and it's not always the same impression ... but you don't need to be afraid to miss out of some of the characters, just... patience. And... one more thing, don't turn off the episode until you can see the yellow end-texts, in some episodes they use blackouts, just don't turn it off too early.😵💫😮 (I say no more).🤐

We all knew Roy Kent was pretty much finished as a player going into this game - it's been hinted at since the very first episode - but I love that Ted gave him the opportunity to go out in a blaze of glory like that. Whatever Ted's flaws as a coach may be, he can tell so often exactly what his players need and I adore that about him.

I'm now 53. I have watched A LOT of television since I was 6. That's 47 years where I have watched the best that UK and US television has had to offer. I've seen classics made before i was born, I've watched dramas that have has worldwide acclaim, I have seen shows so well know that phrases from them have entered into common usage on both continents. This show has jumped into my top five TV shows of all time. It is a pleasure to rewatch this show with you on your reaction channel.

Jamie's dad is a real POS. Easily the character I like the least in the series. The look on Ted's face when Jamie is being abused by his father is incredible. The note and army man finally got through to Jamie that Ted's feelings toward him are genuine, not mind games, and even if his dad isn't proud of him, Ted is.

Outside of the US, soccer has relegation, if you finish in the bottom x, you’re sent down to a lower division, while the top x, is lifted to the top league. Makes it more competitive. In the Championship, the league Richmond will be in next season, teams that finish 1 and 2 are automatically promoted, while 3-6 are in a playoff for the final spot.

The actor who plays Jamie, Phil Dunster, is apparently really lovely irl. Someone who worked on the show said he was the nicest person on set, and fans who have met him always have really nice things to say as well 😊

One mark of how good this show is IMO is that (as they basically make explicit with Keeley and Rebecca's conversation) people who previously couldn't care less about football are still fully invested in the matches because they care about the characters. The power of good storytelling :). (and yep, how it works at least in the top two English leagues is, the bottom three teams are relegated to the league below and the top two teams from that league are automatically promoted then there're playoff games for the third promotion spot - relegation can be a disaster for a club because there's a lot less money from e.g. broadcast TV rights in lower leagues)

Loving re-living this show with you! If you go back to that scene where Ted yells at Jamie in the locker room - the "It's PRACTICE" scene - you can literally see Jamie dissociate. I didn't pick up on it first viewing - because I didn't know his backstory. Seeing the abuse from his dad - like actually seeing it, not just hearing about it - put together that piece of the puzzle. Ted was yelling at him and he was *terrified*. I love Jamie.

Did you see Isak look into the camera at the very end? Astrid S is a Norwegian pop singer/star. She sings in a track or two. 🤔 William's actor was going through Russe at the time, so partying all night. It was why he passed out during the shoot.
