a very important thing that you should keep in mind while watching this series (and maybe think back on the first season as well) is that the name of the series literally means "shame" in norwegian. so just like you feel a little ashamed of kind of finding this relationship cute because of how shitty willam is, that is what noora's "shame" is as well. every season is focused on a different character's shame to let us in on how different everyone is and how everyone has something they are ashamed of. in the first season, eva didn't know who she was and felt ashamed of falling for her bestfriend's ex bf. i am not sure if someone mentioned this before or if you knew, but i wanted to make sure you did. to me it is one of the most important pieces of information to know (-: i am enjoying your reactions a lot! i love how much you actually take away from each episode, keep it up!!

Noora probably receives a scholarship to pay for rent. It's common practice in Norway for students that live away from home (e.g. if parents are working abroad or if there are no schools close to home).

I think noora explains it this season that her parents never wanted a child so they let her be independent from a yung age and they paying for her flat but I think they live abroad - if I remember corectly xd

once I read that according to Norwegian people, all of the SKAM characters are actually pretty whealthy. Nissen, the school they go to is very prestigious. And look at the house Eva lives in. Hee single mother is a very succesful businesswoman and Noora's parents can afford her renr even of she doesn't live with them.

You can go to any high school that accepts you. If you live in an area that doesn’t have a high school, the government helps pay for your housing near your school. That may be the case for Noora. Also, it’s not uncommon for high school students to live in shared apartments anyway.

@@mariahdaley4773 Yes, but it also was mentioned that her parents are successful psychologists or sexologists or something like that, that travel a lot for their work. Jonas parents have this gorgeous lakeside house and of course William and his expensive cars. There is only one character that's mentioned to struggle financially but I don't know if saying their name is a spoiler, as said character doesn't even have a season on their own.

I never got it clear but I think the Yakuza are another Russ bus group who are rivals of William's group, Riot Club aka Penetrators. There are so many things that you notice that I haven't noticed before, even though I've seen the series probably more than 3 times. For example, the fact that Isak liked Jonas in the first season, I must have been blind for not to see that. And also the fact that Noora was already a little interested in William from the start. I just thought that she didn't like the guy at all in the beginning and then he grew on her more and more over the course of the season. Season 2 is my favorite because Noora and William are perfect!❤️😍

I'm glad Eva figured it out too, so Noora can have someone to confide in. Noora's good at playing hard to get, except when she doesnt think her roommate's going to message her back. I put off watching s2 because i wasn't that interested in them as a couple but now I like it almost as much as s3 which is my favourite. I think Wilhelm will grow on you too, but I understand not wanting him to. He is sort of an annoying cliché.
