The music in this series is probably one of the main reasons this will never be released on Netflix or anything like that. The creator was very specific about what music she wanted to have in particular scenes, to the point that she often wrote it into the scripts. If you don’t understand Norwegian, you will miss some of the significance. Like for example, in the scenes about William having to talk to the police the music in the background is from a song called “si ingenting” (Norwegian for “say nothing”)which is about not talking to the cops. Or the song “gay bar” at the end of season 1 when the girls see gay porn sites on Isak’s phone. They also use a lot of mainstream songs with strict copyright. It’s one thing to put that music into a show that’s broadcast on Norwegian public television, but I’m sure they couldn’t get clearance for that on a global platform. And replacing the music would really dilute the storytelling.

Did you see Isak look into the camera at the very end? Astrid S is a Norwegian pop singer/star. She sings in a track or two. 🤔 William's actor was going through Russe at the time, so partying all night. It was why he passed out during the shoot.

William is a keeper!! ❤ I totally ship them. Some people are too judgemental, sorry. The next season is phenomenal 🙌

i totally agree, he doesn't get a pass for the bad things he did, but there was a ton of growth here that i was scared wouldn't happen with how much people still hated him. i was pleasantly surprised that my feelings changed on him! 🩶

This season is one of the best out of the four tbh, just that you either love / hate it based on how much you can get over your hate for William as a character in season 1 😂 Btw, fun fact.. what William is reading in Noora's room is a play from like 18xx. The main character of that play is called "Nora". An independent & strong woman. I think someone mentioned that its where Noora got her name.. and why her name have 2 "o" ( which have been asked by William & Nico I think? ). Because she is basically Nora 2.0 in the present time. Cant wait for your reaction on season 3 & 4 ❤

it is really interesting because when i started season 1 i don't think anyone commented anything about season 2 and then when i found out it was Noora, i was ecstatic bc i adore her, but also - i just was a little nervous that no one seemed to love it in the way they were hyping seasons 3 and 4 but i adored the season!! omg, i love that fun fact!! 🩶

haven't even watched any of your skam reactions yet because I normally wait until a reactor is done with the entire show but I gotta just chime in and state how much I adore season 2. It's personally my favourite, which isn't a very common opinion when compared with how much people love season 3. As someone already mentioned in the comments, it really just depends if you love or hate William but I adored them as a couple, I always looked forward to their season in the remakes!

this means SO much to me because i also really adored this season and didn't want to move on yet from noora and william and i have never seen anyone even really mention season 2, only seasons 3 and 4 so i'm very happy that i loved seaosn 2 the way i have! I ended up turning my feelings around on william but even when i was rolling my eyes at him, i was still loving the journey! 🩶

@@ryannrodkey5669 Ah I’m looking forward to your reactions if that is the case! It’s just a bummer when people can’t get over their hate of William to really appreciate the season. Yes he makes dumb decisions even in this season but it’s never to be cruel on purpose with Noora, their soft and quiet moments were they really see each other is just so heartwarming to me for some reason. I think you’ll adore season 3 and even 4 but there’s just something about the tropes in season 2 that just makes me love it a tiny bit more. I do hope if you’re going to ever do the remakes to do the Belgium remake called wtfock because their noora and William is superior and they added so much more depth to them too and I could talk about this ship forever so I’ll shut up now 😂
