In case you're new here, I (Ryann) have already seen Young Royals and all of my reactions are already uploaded, but my sister wanted to watch it with me and agreed to film it. She truly just gets more unhinged from here so I hope you enjoy, I know I am!! It has already been so much fun watching with her and being able to converse and bounce off of her and I can tell she is going to enjoy the twists and turns that this show takes. I'm curious to see if she is going to continue being offended on Wille's behalf throughout the show or if that will flip flop 🤔

I love your sister, she is so funny and direct. It’s great how straight forward she can be saying it like it is. It will be fun seeing the show through her eyes and you having all the foreknowledge of what is to come.

I love her sarcastic comments and I can tell your reactions are different from each other like you mentioned at the start. And that makes for an interesting and layered reaction. I see she is on the August hate train as well 😂 I look forward to see if her opinions changes about him but also the rest of the show and characters!! Also regarding the dealing alcohol part with his father: How it works in Sweden is that we can only buy alcohol above 3,5% alcohol in a specific alcohol store called ”Systembolaget”. You can still buy some beer below 3,5% in the normal grocery store but wines and liquor and heavier beers you only get from “Systembolaget”. So this is why the dealer thing comes in because in Sweden you’re allowed to consume alcohol from 18 years old but you’re only allowed to buy alcohol at Systembolaget from 20 years of age. So that’s why if teens wanna buy alcohol before 20, they either can only get 3,5% or drink it out at a club or bar when they are 18. And if you’re below 18, you need to ask someone above the age of 20 if you want heavier alcohol if you wanna go to a party. The reason Systembolaget is the only store that sells heavier alcohol is to reduce the alcohol consumption in society, and it works. And it makes it harder for people to easily get their hands on it, hence why Simon asks his dads to buy him alcohol (and the dad naturally should not agree but does in this context because he wants a good relationship with his son). Looking forward to episode 2!!

This was so much fun. Can't wait to continue watching with you guys. Also, your sister calling the first episode funny... I don't think I have ever heard Young Royals and funny used in the same sentence 😂. But I guess she's right, episode one does have it's funny moments. Let's see how long she can hold on to that impression...
