Hi! My name's Peter and I make history videos about Formula 1. My area of expertise is everyone's favourite backmarker F1 teams. We're used to seeing the likes of Red Bull and Mercedes battling it out for the win every weekend, but have you wondered what's going at the back of the grid? Here I make long-form videos looking at the campaigns of minnow teams such as Super Aguri and HRT. We're talking every overtake, every pit stop, the whole nine yards, everything the TV cameras missed! I also enjoy doing ranking videos, but here I don't do top ten F1 drivers of the 2010s for example, I rank EVERY F1 driver of the 2010s! So click the subscribe button if you want to see more!

Earth Dreams was a humiliation ritual for the Japanese. What happened next year and Red Bull's domination is Karma for that bullshit.
To be fair, only counting the best x results per driver only makes sense when there are races which may be affected by reliability. At least that’s what I think.
Ideas for new iceberg: Berrilumgate, Plankgate, DSQ-gate, Benneton fuel rigs, McLaren dreadful stops 2012,
If you just put halo on the 1950s cars, it would also kill many drivers.
Crying at the Tsunoda entry! totally uncharacteristic! Haha
Invite who Ric the idiot? 😂😂😂😂
That finish with a damage engine would have been so epic
Peter Brook to Red Bull confirmed
2009 in reverse would be 🔥
Imagine the fucking scenes of those last 15-10 laps, with Vettel's engine slowly dying, whilst Alonso is in prime position to take the title.
amazing video, next 2012 hahahha will be funny
other seasons with close fight that would worth their own chapters on this series: 2012, 2003, 1997
Nice video, but I still don't understand the idea because the standings are still the same at the end of the season
Easily my favorite Formula 1 season! 🔥🔥
People often say safety laws are written in blood, and F1 for sure is a good testament for it. It's scary how one season could have several deaths.
I think reverse 2005 would be great
Banger season for which I have a lot of nostalgia.
I touched the 291! It’s on display at a museum at Monaco. I loved how it looked with those triangular inlets.
Love the GT4 mission mode music on the ‘Nurburgring’ section 🫢
I'd love to see one of these for 2003.
Please bring more of this!
I wonder if Hulkenberg would've kept his Williams seat had he taken pole position in Round 2 rather than late in the season when his fate had already been decided...
You should rank all the cars that came after Jordan was bought out. I like the think about it like it’s the same team and engineers and shit just different name and owners. That’s why I love Aston Martin and definitely it cuz the color is cool, despite the owners nowadays are not the most moral
I love all the references to famous radio moments and TV calls.
I would absolutely love you to make a video about how massively different F1 would be if Jules Bianchi did not have his fatal crash at Suzuka in 2014. Rest in peace Jules.
A championship decider at the Bahrain endurance track 🤢 It’s clear to see just how big the Ferrari mid season upgrades were (at Britain I believe but they had a poor race) themselves and RB were the main team to get the front wing flexy wings works from what I remember of the season and it made a night and day difference, Also Alonso mid season slump is very clear to see here and Silverstone he lost his head that day and there was quite a few errors too, the 2012 version of Alonso wins this title imo Also it’s clear to see how McLaren simply didn’t upgrade at the rate they needed too in that season but Lewis mistakes withstanding at Monza and Singapore which were racing incidents for the most part had a very underrated 2010 season Also the lack of testing might have been behind the Michael inconsistent performance throughout the year but towards the end he was getting closer and matching Nico performances Vettel won sporadically through no fault of himself at times but sometimes was the master of his own downfall Webber this was definitely the title that got away from him, he had the best luck reliability wise but wasn’t consistent enough to win the title
As a minor correction, Alonso survived that first lap incident in Belgium, but later crashed out all on his own.
Very underrated season. with two rounds to go, five could still win the title (JB in addition to Seb, Webber, Alonso and Hamilton) . JB could have been the first driver to win back to back titles with different teams since Fangio but alas he fell short. Still gutted Webber didn't win it but stunned Alonso didn't given the position he was in 😅
The enigma. I loved Sutil during his F1 days. I personally think what happen in Japan in 2014 killed his motivation.
Can’t wait till he does 2012 and has to justify Grosjean’s ban from the Italian Grand Prix before the Spa accident
Well, Massa holding Alonso in Melbourne and Webber collinding with Hamilton would be much more dramatic events in this timeline. 😂
1:11:40 This aged very poorly
I love this videos! Keep going like this, Peter! Thanks a lot from Italy 😎👍
Hungaroring Gonna be fire. It will just be you reading of names of F1 drivers
2009 will be even more insane in reverse
ehh.. Felipe Massa spring incident
@@L.internet8 Yeah, Massa returning from a sabbatical to replace the useless Badoer? Sounds great!
I don't think it would be all that good. F1 cars aren't very fast in reverse 😉
Loving this channel and all these videos Peter. Keep it up!
'Not bad for a number one driver' killed me. Truly masterpiece.
love this series
Maturing is realising that 2010 was better than 2012
I hope you dont get paid by how many bracelets are sold. That 9,600€ price tag is a bit too much. Senna documentary not coming out?
Hi there! 9,600€ is the price tag for our Schumacher Limited Edition, the most expensive collection we have. If you like the concept, we have the GT and F1 Race Silver collections which are way more affordable! And if you have any questions let me know, we will gladly answer them all :)
@MONGRIP_Official What prices are considered „affordable“ ?
Looking at it this way, we can see Alonso really lost the title with the mid season slump. Everyone points to Abu Dhabi or Spa where he lost the title, but if the Ferrari at the mid point of the season was good enough to fight Mclaren and Red Bull, he would have won easily. Alonso wouldn't have even had to win. Just a few P6 and P5 finishes in the mid season would have been enough instead of low or even no points finishes he got.
Chadwick failed so much after the W series ,not impressed !
Alonso in just the season finale (in this parallel universe) went from having no hope, to a lot of hope, to losing the championship. Basically among all possibilities that’s the most Ferrari thing that could have happened
So, Brazil 2012 then?
2006 and 2012 vibes
@@GuilhermeMach-314 yeah…basically, but in that GP we Ferrari went from a lot of hope (Vettel was taken out at the start) to an heartbreak
Babe, wake-up. Peter Brook just dropped an alternative timeline f1 season lookback
Good lady that one mate👍🏻✌🏻
Love this kind of video. Such an interesting way of viewing a season.
Now you'll have to do 2012!
I think red bull vs mclaren season
Something to remember: the last half the season would be so different because mentalities would cause people to probably make some more mistakes.
Ye that aspect can’t be predicted but still a decent scenario
I remember the pop out valves to reduce turbo power! Alain Prost once said that McLaren were using only 3.5 bar of boost because if you used 4 you would weaken the valve and it would pop out at the worst time. The truth was they had figured out a work around and were running over 4 bar! It was some thing everyone figured out how to do by the end of the season but by then it was too late.
