Formula 1 has often struggled to break into the American market. Historically, the United States has produced several successful drivers, but in more recent years investment and interest in Formula 1 has been superseded by domestic series like IndyCar and NASCAR. In 2014, businessman Gene Haas decided to spread his influence out from his eponymous tool manufacturing company and NASCAR team and create a Formula 1 team of his own. This is the story of Haas F1 Team.

The VF-19’s performance is very similar to the VF-23 this year, fast in qualifying, and terrible pace and high tyre degradation in races.

I‘ll always remember watching Silverstone on my trip in the UK then finding a few hours later Rich Energy had terminated their contract, was probably the most exciting thing of that trip.
Good now I have to wacth the whole series

I love the fact that Gene Haas is such a racing and automotive enthusiast that he wanted an F1 team. Have to respect a man who's living his dream.
i was never quite sure why they decided to keep Grosjean on for the 2020 season as he was very error prone (about double to what he usually was) in 2019

his near-death accident sealed his fate
2019 was the year that Gunether Steiner was not happy with how things panned out in the year and also was the typical Drive to Survive star when Magnussen "FOK SMASHED" his door, that's one of the things that Haas were remembered for in 2019.
Despite the interesting story regarding the Rich Energy sponsorship, the VF-19 did have a lovely livery.
Ok now i know why Rich Energy left as a sponsor
