I personally don’t like the retcon. It completely removes all the character development for the reds and blues like Tucker, Grif, Donut, Wash,etc.

This story has been going on throughout my whole life to see it finally end marks then end of my childhood also the day I found out there was more to zombies than just see how many rounds you could clear was crazy the days I’d figure out how to do all Easter eggs on each map to see the story play out was AWESOME I’d love to see a dedicated zombies aether story as a standalone game

Leonard and Allisons ending legit made me sob. loved that arc. also felt like it was when i finally let myself feel sad about RTs ending. despite how bad things were in the end... that company meant a LOT to me. also if it WAS a simulation. i like to believe it ended up playing out in reality.

The whole "I'm based on their memories" thing could moreso be this version of Tex finally getting over some kind of mental block. Like, imagine you're an ai based off your templates husbands memories of you dying and never coming back, that has GOT to leave some sort of deep seated issues, idk. It's still semi-iffy, but I feel the rule-of-cool applies here regardless.

Personally, it was a good ending to the series, not a perfect ending though, I still think season 13 has the best ending the show could have gotten, while season 17 was also a good ending too, but this was also a good ending, even though it had problems.

I disagree with you big time on Sarge's death. It doesn't make sense at all and it isn't the ONLY way for him to go out. First of all, his character regressed back to before Season 8 like you said already. It's fucking stupid, but they did that. The only reason he agrees to help Caboose is to kill the blue team again. Then out of nowhere he randomly decides to go back for Caboose even though not 30 minutes ago he decided to not help Caboose because he was a blue. This sudden change back to Season 13 Sarge makes no fucking sense. If this PROPERLY continued after 13, this could have worked if the first 20 minutes didn't regress has character back by over a decade because Burnie couldn't write him for shit for some reason. Also, Sarge claims that he always pushed Grif because he knew he could do better. That is fucking bullshit because we have seen time and time again that he would try to kill Grif because he hated him soo much. They bonded a little at the end of 13 and for a weird bit of Season 7. It's soo fucking retarded. Nothing about his death makes sense. Not even in the bubble shield makes sense. How would the bubble shield work in combat if when you use it, it pushes everything back like pinning Tucker to the ceiling and Sarge having to back up to avoid it. Also, his final line should have been "Today is a good day to die." Then we have your claim that the only way Sarge's story could end was that he died. Why is that the only way for his character arc to end? Why can't it end on a happy note with him finding peace after soo many years of war? If you are a talented writer, you can find better ways for character arcs to end. Also, fuck Tex's return and retreading old grounds with her and Church at the end. That was also retarded. Literally EVERYTHING about this story doesn't work. NOTHING WORKS. It's easily the worse season. I'm not kidding. I would love to go in depth on it or talk to you about it but man typing all day sounds like a drag lol.

restoration is definitely not worse than the shizno paradox, I wish I could scrub that portion of rvb from my memory as much as I could zero restoration was definitely the worst out of the actual good seasons, but its still good I will absolutely admit it has its faults, my main issue is it feels incomplete, like theres a full show and this is just the clips in chronological order, it feels like there is a lot going on between scenes that we should be knowing about but not seeing but overall, I enjoyed it, and its an ending to rvb that I find satisfying, cant say the same about any of the previous seasons

It was tough watching that season tbh. Almost everything in it sucked, the fights felt like they were forced in instead of happening naturally, and the animation SUCKED. The Meta was supposed to be a HUGE threat. In this season I heard him referred to as something like “the most dangerous soldier in the GALAXY.” This was supposed to be huge but instead this whole conflict felt like a small squabble between a few idiots. Yes it is better than Zero. But DAMN I am disappointed with the writing. I couldn’t even finish the whole thing.
