    I’m confused.. why did you heat treat it before doing any grinding to get the bevel? Wouldn’t the material removal be much easier prior to heat treatment?

    Why did you wrap the blade in basically tin foil before temp hearing and quenching? Then freeze it and then bake it?

    At 11min 59 seconds you can see the knife won't work, the blade has already made contact with the spring holder and it hasn't even bottomed out against the lock lever. It would dull the knife every time you closed it. mabey you could grind down the spring holder but it doesn't look that way to me.
