Fish, Hunt, Cook, Tinker. Do what you love! I have grown up fishing and hunting every chance that I get. With that passion brought a love to cook my catch. When I am not fishing or hunting I am working on any and everything. Most of the time something to help aid in my fishing and hunting addiction.

Have had many failures of the large o ring. Bought several cut offs and replaced o rings several more times, always the large one. Will hold for 3 or 4 weeks then slow leak. Fixed it though, replaced tank with a tank made for 8n or 8oo. It has a side mount for the sediment bowl type shut off. Works great and if ever need to change no disassembly required.
I'm gonna try this. What was it that your wife made that you put on after the Frank's? Thanks. Peace, Love and Wisdom to you and yours.
Man I just want to say, I went down this rabbit hole with you yesterday and watched all 20 vids. Bro, you did a hell of a job. I know everything didn’t turn out like you wanted but that’s building anything in general. I truly wish we were buds cause I can tell the kind of person you are. But anyway I really enjoyed the series. I hope you got the motor straightened out and I truly appreciate your candor and thoroughness in these vids. I didn’t know it was going to take me 5-6 hours to watch them all but I couldn’t stop watching. I’m about to get one of these boats on trade for a deck job and I learned so much from your vids. Seriously grateful you took the time to make these. You’re a hell of a good content creator. Just the way you went thru step by step. Your sense of humor about things as they come up. Your approach to the task. All of it. As a builder of many things myself. I truly value the work you did. Thanks man! 10 stars. lol
If you plow from the middle every year you will have a high middle because your throwing the dirt to the middle and the youll have lower outer edges Not a low spot or a dich as you call in the middle.
Air in the fuel line? Seen that before. If you used hose clamps change them out to squeeze or compression clamps. Great job on the boat, it looks great.
Appreciate the video. Working on a J16 in Florida for flats fishing and the deck built by previous owner needs replacing. Was going to mount flush but it IS too much for beauty’s sake 😅
Excellent hack! Thanks for posting. Just modified mine and it worked great. This became a necessity for me because even the new petcocks I buy arrived with dried out o-rings.
I wonder what putting in some "Heat source" of some kind under the hull and drive that moisture out. High enough to drive the water to vaporize over time but not enough to do any damage.
Probably wouldn't want to have to beat it off 😅
You like the smooth teeth better?
I know nothing about tractors and even less about farming/plowing/discing/harrowing, ...... but I am a very good mechanic. I purchase a tired but unmolested 1954 NAA (Jubilee identical). I have two acres I want to take care of and plant a garden here in the southwest. I'm fixing up the "Jubilee" (its easier to call it that as then everyone out here knows what it is even though technically its a NAA) and have fixed the the hydraulics and running. It has "draft control". Does the 8N? Does draft control really works so you don't have to have your hand as you demonstrated so well for when the tractor bogs down? ANY advice would be helpful as I know nothing. Which implement should I try to purchase first? Why? My land has never been plowed. It was an avocado orchard for 100 years and now it is just land. It is pretty hard and doesn't look like all that beautiful soil you guys have with that deep brown color. I just can't imagine a blow like yours would cut into my soil. Do I plow first or disc first? Again, anything would help. Thank you.
I’ve come back to this video twice in the last 2yrs. You’re the man
Thanks. I had never used one of these on my 8N before and was wondering how they attached.
They sell pistons that can go directly into the block without sleeves, your probably not going to run it enough to wear them out again, we don't run them for ten hours a day like old timers did, they are hobby tractors for most of us, mine has got 130hrs in the last 12 years, stay strong guys
I make a lot of different whitetail recipes sir, this looks good but why the plastic liner ? NOT being judgemental just inquiring fella. I carve my harvest, as well as my son's & his buddies. All learnt from utube. I also cook my harvested grouse . 👍 good times. 74+🍁 hunter Yorkshire expat
Thank you for putting up that video.Love it keep up the good work
Buying an 8n a bush hog tonight. Thanks for the info. I was 16 the last time i was on a tractor and it was green.
Could I be doing something wrong? Rivets would smash square but not break off. Is the rivet on the top of the vice or IN the vice? Update. Got it. Bigger hammer.
This mixer is absolutely amazing. I did in 3 weekends 140 80 lbs bags. Mixing 3 80lbs bags at the time I put a little more water than recommended. I bought it at Walmart. I highly recommended.
[thank, you for you're great helpful video]👍
Good information right there. In way to be patient when talking about it.
What are the signs of your filter getting clogged for your transmission?
Kudos for owning up to the brain fart. Almost all of us do that and the ones that don’t are liars 😉 How long is that skiff? It does look real heavy
Thanks for the great video. I'm rebuilding my 501 i just bought . Also got a complete rebuild kit from Webb. I was lost in a few areas, but after watching you I got it figured out. Thanks a bunch. Your friend Tom from Ny
I'm in the same boat as you. I just got one as well. Gonna need a little work to get it going again.
I have the same tractor. Only had it for a year. Thanks for the great information
👍
You have to line up the top wheel to the back of the drum? Thanks
Okay, Brother! Get OVER the transport position (or fighting it!). When you are prepared to move your 580B to the next digging position - Center the Backhoe. The Boom lever - next to the righthand outrigger needs to be pulled back right and up to when the boom is almost to the top...then force the lever forward... the boom will lock into position. It took me 50 passes to figure that thing out... now - LOCKED before I move EVERY TIME. It just takes practice and once you get it... you will snicker to yourself!
I do NOT have the bar on the backhoe that we have 1973?-ish 580B... I will use the Travelers in my transmission - we'll see if it stops screaming... hoping for the best... as to the holes in the backhoe arm... he was using it as a lock-pin... or so it looks like.
Great planting music! Can't dance a jig while planting, though. I got a 3 point 2 row john deere 246 from a guy off of Facebook market place. He used it for sweetcorn, as the guy he got it from. I just planted my sweetcorn with it yesterday. Had it on my ford 860.
Ordered one several months ago, finally installed it a couple of days ago. Pretty easy job!
Y boss has a Kenmore dryer, but itshe same as yours. Thanks for this video. I believe I can fix theirs and save them a ton of money!!! Keep up the great work...

God Bless you, Sir! I’m replacing a fuel shutoff when the parts get here.
.08 is the thread spacing in mm.
Great info 👍
Great video. Looking to get a 580b soon
just wanted to thank you for putting this out there. I have the same dryer, same symptoms, your video helped me fix mine flawlessly. All squeaks are gone. thank you again!
2 questions , 1 what do you need the larger PTO shaft for? 2 why not put the enlarged adapter on PTO shaft?
Hey man great video. I replaced the wheels and belt but it will not spin when i put at least half a laundry load. The belt snapped twice. It’ll take a couple of garments but when its at least half full it will not spin appropriately. It stalls and i can smell the belt burning. The right wheel spins but it wont rotate it just stalls.
Well done sir. I connect with your video. I upgraded from an Elite 7 HDI to a Gen 3 and I finally upgraded from a MK All Terrain to an XI5 w/GPS & sonar. Installed all the units today. Tomorrow all the wiring. Very excited!
In a pinch- hopefully you see this: Was this 8 or 6in wide?
Thx for sharing
Thx for sharing
quick question- Does your drum wobble at all?? I just bought one of these and when i started it the drum has a slight wobble as it spins. Thx..
I would suggest to keep on top of your tractor and develop a maintenance program. If you don’t, you’re Going to be hit by a lot of unnecessary expenses. I don’t think your Grandfather would like your idea to avoid the proper maintenance for your tractor. Putting in sleeves with new piston ring Replacements. Once the overhaul is completely done, your Tractor will go on and on for many years. The 8,9n Ford is easy to work with. After the overhaul is done, the draining of acidic water in the radiator and with smelly oils to be replaced with good quality will add to the longevity of your tractor. Best to you!
I’m wanting to rebuild my boat as well and I was wondering… do you think it would work if you put that fast grip in the gel coat and rolled it together?
Thank you for the awesome step by step... you saved the day for me!!! (And quiet a one, too)
Dry Sleeves. No water leakage from the sleeves. Sleeves are a interference press fit. If a shop had that block and a sleeve is loose most likely would fix it the same way with locktite. Once a year torque the head and manifold bolts as they will loosen up.
Quit talking and grab a wrench!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
