Ngl wish there was an opposite of this, where you can play as listed: Chaos Cultist - Chaos Warrior - Chaos Knight - Rot Knight [empire tree] Savage Orc - Orc big’un - Black Ork - Orc shaman [dwarf tree] Clan Rat - Assassin Rat - Gatling Rat - Storm Skaven [like the elf tree] Skeleton warrior - grave guard - Thrall - Vampire [witch hunter tree] Dark elf spear - dark elf hag - dark elf knight(cold one riders dismounted) - dark elf beast master [fire wizard tree] Each of these[maybe not all] I wish could be implemented so ppl could play on the opposite side, though we have the PvP aspect I just feel if players didn’t just have to play as JUST good aligned they could also play evil of the chaos gods/other factions [or add other forms of chosen of the other 3 chaos gods]

6:51 The way I cure this line of thinking is with the trinket effect: “Gain all potion effects on use but 50% of the duration is cut”. One thing I hate about picking up all those potions is what you mentioned here but with this trinket it means I have a potion for every situation. If I’m low, high or just need a quick boost to get my career skill back. That trinket effects cures my “I need to wait for the right moment to use my potion” to “I have a potion for every situation” while it’s not the best. It helps alot in situations where I feel I may not get the best out of a speed or strength potion.

If you use numberic UI then you go to game setting > gameplay > turn off "Detail UI", so no more duplicate health number, skill cooldown time or ammo counter

I know video is 1y old but for the point about dual hammer strenght over Cog isn't just speed. It's number and longer effective dodge and access to move tech to run faster. The main sell point for Cog is it's heavy atk dmg who melt boss and CW. So, If you choose torpedo, 1h hammer, dual hammer are good to compensate the lack of mobility to better deal with special and horde clearing (don't wast torpedo on horde plz). If you go with other ranged choice, then Cog/2h Hammer are better choice thx to the amazing armor piercing they give to deal with elite

as of now, No. Bland maps that all look the same The class system is worse since you need to exit to the main menu every time you change class and the game currency isnt shared between classes (idk if this will change i hope so), once you reach endgame thats it because there is no more content (this is a problem common in young live service games) instead of solid characters with identities, the classes are just stereotypes which makes all the conversations superficial: either its banter, answering a question or referencing something from the warhammer40k lore Character powers are ok but only after you reach lvl 30 and unlock all level upgrades. Before that, you are stuck with a power that works just enough to be noticed but never to change the tides in a horde battle. Also, regarding campaings, there is just no campaing. Your campaing is reaching lvl 30 since every 5 lvls or so youll get a cinematic about the commissar telling you he trusts you more until at max level where you are made an official member of the shock troops. Now this is something that is more of a personal complaint. In the 40k universe you can read about space marines, sisters of battle, the mechanicus forces, the Imperial guard and their heroes. But in darktide, youll get to play none of those heroes since the power scale would be ridiculous. In vermintide you get to play at least a special unit that can maybe save some lives, but in darktide you are just cannon fodder thrown into a useless war inside a single world while the imperium is hundreds of solar systems wide. If you know 40k lore, you know you are fighting for nothing and even if you were to loose, the imperium can just cut losses and call an exterminatus on the planet. For me, it feels like not even in lore does it makes sense for me to keep playing.

i love left 4 dead and still play it on and off to this day but i cannot get into vermintide or darktide. i just get bored with them after a few hours but never have that feeling with lfd2. shame cause i love warhammer.

Ive been playing for 3 years now and it feels just as good when i started. The only "negative" is that i play on consoles which means that updates may arrive later as well that we will NOT be getting versus which was stated by fatshark multiple times. Which is quite unfortunate

I just run warrior priest as a healer. Nothing more satisfying than someone taking a huge hit, you shield them, and it just heals their hp back to full and they're like "Ooohhh~". The rest of the talents I invest heavily into stagger. Might as well go full on support and keep staggering enemies for my team while keeping them alive. A lot of people seem to not pick that particular talent, idk why. It's especially good in Quickplay because people just aren't gonna be 100% dodging all the hits, and at the very least you can use it to heal yourself if you don't wanna pay attention to your team. It's also an instant res like Kruber except it also heals them. I know the other ult talents are good, but come on. You literally heal your teammates when they mess up. That chaos warrior hit? You just negated it with the press of a button. That's how good it is.

The Stigma around Outcast Engineers isn't because of the Crank Gun, but because the latest rework gave him bs bomb talents that lets him generate unlimited free bombs...which he uses to insta-wipe patrols and monsters from the level, thereby deleting all the most challenging parts of the game solo while his team doesn't have anything else they can do.

Been running quite a similar build running 1h hammer, flamethrower, gromril plated shots and both bomb talents makes him so versatile against anything other than a boss. Gromril shots 1 shot a most specials when close range and has more effective range than the normal crankgun. Fun build, should give it a go

Vermintide 2 is fantastic but from my experience on Xbox the player base is non existent. I play cata with bots half the time because no one joins my game and it is next to IMPOSSIBLE to complete a single level like this... Also winds of magic is highway robbery.
