Goddamn the melee in this game is satisfying. Vermintide 2's melee was already good, but they improved on it that I can't wait how they'll improve upon it more for V3.

While I enjoyed melee in DT, I found it to be much slower than V2. I tend to like the fast attacks that some V2 characters have.

@@jacobvriesema6633 I felt the same playing as the Ogryn, then I tried the Psyker and that sword is splendidly nimble. I'm also a sucker for the revolver and head pops lol.

Just hope it feels as good as it looks, I also hope that the chainsword won't completely drown out the music. So hyped!!

the chainsword doesn't make a lot of noise until you actually rev it up for the special attack where you grind into one enemy and let the saw chew them up. otherwise it just whacks like a normal sword.

Once the game gets completed, I wouldn't be surprised if it started, "When the Darktide music kicks in..."

Games got me playing it like it's Metal: Hellsinger.

Ogryn is head banging, and so is Psyker

Ogryn is bobbing to the music, the psycker is bobbing because their brain is leaking out of their ears

I like to think that the BigFriendlyNothingBetweenHisEars Ogryn and the AsCloseToBeingInsaneWithoutActuallyCrossingTheLine Psyker both actually hear the music in their heads as they're fighting. The headbanging is canon for them.

Which system specs are ye working with? I turned on FSR to ultra quality and my performance held steady for the most part. Only dipping in the heavier hordes on higher difficulties. (My specs: Ryzen 7 3800X, Radeon RX 6700XT, 32GB 3600MHz RAM, game on a HDD.)

@@tamleo69 well you have problems wsith logic things lmao. ofc enemies will try to hide, camouflage with the enviromenet and ofc streampunk sci-fi maps are dark and gritty and hard to look at.... and you have old as fuck GPU. what do you expect from 1050ti, card weaker than 1060 3gb

@@ImotekhtheStormlord-tx2it Even with low graphics, (Ryzen 5 4600h, GTX 1650 4gb ti) I get an average of 30 and lower, I really do hope once they officially release the game they improve more on the optimization and such.

@@tamleo69 have you tinkered with FSR? It's not AMD exclusive like Nvidea's DLSS.

Meh.... Sorry not trying to be rude, but... I didn't feel the OST was... great or aything. IMO.
