Hey, what’s going on, I found your channel about a week or so ago and I’ve been listening to a lot of your videos. The video that grab my attention in the beginning was when you were talking about Rockford😮 having clean power, this reminded me of back in the day in the early 90s when I purchased a punch 40 that was rated at 20 W of channel that amp was phenomenal for what it was and everyone that got in the car did not believe that that was 20 W per channel, I am currently working on a small system in a Honda S2 thousand thinking about going with a punch two channel amplifier. I believe it’s the punch 300 not sure of what I should go with as far as my component speakers in the doors, I also have a Memphis powered subwoofer called a nano box under the driver seat pushing out 200 per channel, if you can give me any suggestions on what to go with for door speakers, I would really appreciate it. I know you’re busy guy keep up the good work.

As MB stated, those are his "King" status recommendations. Solobarics, as robust as they are, simply haven't achieved his personal "King" status thus his not mentioning or recommending them. It's not a dis on them at all. Just his personal recommendation due to his personal in depth research which can be seen in his demo vids.

What 8 or 6 inch sub would you recommend in the free air, rear deck lid application, not looking for alot of power 250- 500
I look for any driver that has a qts of .7 or higher, first thought comes to my mind is the kicker Comp c8, and it's efficient as well, takes 200 rms, and seen it work well that way my man. Just make sure you seal that rear deck up with some sound insulation to keep front/ rear wave separate or youll lose pressure and rattle too much.

This is cool and all but you also have to factor in the end user here. You can set gain's properly all day long but the instant the end user either changes the source of their music or even worse decides to constantly play below tuning then it will be the same old story of the installer didn't set my gain's properly. Lot's more to blowing a subwoofer than just gain's alone and until people get educated with how enclosures work and how music recording's work we will always have complaint's from both the end user and the installer.

@denisbasshead7787 The L7 and the SOLO X are two very different subwoofers. So hahaha to you. 😂😂😂 L7 are rated at 700 watts each so, 4 of them 2800 watts. The SOLO X is rated 2000- 4000 watts.
For me, SQ is first, then after the SPL. Beacause you are hearing to music not to the loudness.. Loudness without SQ is such kind of a garbage.. It's called NOISE..
Can an amplifier's damping control the cone at low impedances with more accuracy??
