I really like these videos you do from time to time MB. You don’t have a lot but you do have a few. I feel it gives MB a little break and lets us see Myron and how smart he really is. Keep up the good work brother.

I believe and agree with you on that. Compare the difference of quality products from the 80's to now. Take Audio for example. Lanzar, Cerwin Vega, Petra, Soundstreme just to name a few. Sounds like all facts MB. 💯

There were (are) MANY angles of NAFTA, shifting manufacturing jobs to china was definitely one of the primary objectives but there was so much more to it. It's worth noting that there are lots of developed nations that will NOT do business with or import consumer products from China. I'm surprised how few people especially younger generations don't fully understand this

I like this video, can you explain what made in china and built or manufactured in the US mean? I feel like so many things are made in china but doesn’t always mean cheap or not well made

That trade agreement probably sounded good at the time. Might take a 100 years to undo it. MBE with more education 🏆

I don't think American companies had much of a choice as far as moving production overseas. For example. Lets say you have a bunch of competing companies all producing a similar product in the US for a similar price. One of those companies realizes they can have their product produced overseas for a fraction of the cost. Even with the added shipping costs, they can lower their prices by half. Now most customers are buying those products and the other American companies are losing sales. Their profits are down. They are facing extinction if they don't react. They HAVE to move production overseas just to stay afloat.

Please read what you wrote. And explain our economy using explanation. American people have no money and no manufacturing jobs. It baffles me that some do not see the connection. America will continue to degrade as everything is made elsewhere. Look at the German model. They severely limit any import, especially from China, and there economic standing in the European market is stable and copied.

@@M.B.Enclosures I'm explaining what companies do, not a country. Luckily we have people like Biden in office that are bringing manufacturing back to the USA with the Chips Act. We are finally getting battery factories built, the economy is steadily improving, unemployment rates are at their lowest. Yes sir, a lot of progress in the last 3 years. Hopefully we continue this upswing.

A company the size of Kicker could easily afford to make their stuff in America... Greed dictates they won't.

I guess it depends on your definition of greed. If you think greed means keeping the company profitable long term, then yes. Unfortunately, most people do not share your definition of greed. They think of it as something else.

@@JasonWW2000 Have you seen the books at Kicker??? I haven't but you sound like you know something... Greed puts American jobs overseas and more $$$ in Steve Irbys pockets. Same old argument by every industry. How much $$$ is enough for these companies, greed says no amount is enough. I was going to add that you missed the point of MBEs video but I think more accurately you helped him to show by example that people are naive to the problem.

@@arizonaf2503 I think you're confusing greed with survival. American companies don't WANT to send production overseas, they HAVE to. See my other comment. I explain things with examples.

@@JasonWW2000 Annual revenue around $40,000,000... If it was cut in half by manufacturing in America they'd be ok. I don't know what your argument is??? Yes they make more overseas but to think they couldn't survive being a made in America company is silly. Greed.

@@arizonaf2503 The greed in being profitable long term and offering a product the consumer can afford. Show me a list of 10 companies USA based doing massive profits with zero to do with China. American government has made it harder and harder to setup shop to remain competitive and profitable year upon year.
