Canada is less that 2% of the pollution problem and we pay a heavy tax for pollution while our environment Minister laughs and makes policy with China so they can pollute more. Anything any and all politicians say is bullshit.

The transfer case on mini coopers AWD cars are the same way. My buddies started leaking, they said it was non-serviceable and the only option was a new $6,000.00 transfer case. He get rid of the car and never looked twice at another mini cooper.

There's no substitute for changing oils and keeping filters clean its called maintenance prevention I've never seen Detroit Disel cat Cummings come apart from a solid maintenance i worked in a stone quarry for years grease and filters oils is the cheapest way to go.

A lot of the "No parts available" is BS. ESPECIALLY for seals. The seals in that transmission were made by someone. And it is probably a standard size to hold down costs. Look around. You will find it.

Sooooooo..... cleaning up the environment isn't in our best interest??? Additionally, you gave ZERO information about anything, other than some "super corrosive liquid" to clean up exhaust....... -WHAT IS THIS LIQ AND WHAT ARE IT'S RISKS? - that looks like the radiator... so, radiator fluid....... WHAT ARE YOU GETTING AT OTHER THAN AN IRRESPONSIBLE CAR OWNER?

Guys, oems dont manufacture seals. Go to your local bearing and seals place with the dimensions or serial numbers on the seal and they will hook you up for 5 bucks.

Gee Dave, carefully pull this seal, read the size that will be on the seal, or measure the seal, identify if it's shielded or not and what lip type it is and order it from a seal supplier. The chances that is a 1 off proprietary seal unique to that single application is literally 0% I imported vehicles and machinery and some aircraft made in USSR. Western seal suppliers never failed in supplying any size or type of oil seal. I'm disappointed in you

Brought a tear to my eye !!!! This act of kindness not only enhances the physical maintenance of the car but also uplifts the owner’s morale, fostering a sense of appreciation and connection within the community. It’s a tangible reminder of how small, selfless actions can make a significant difference in someone’s day-to-day life.keep up the great content Dave!!!!

I made this mistake once but unlike crack I never used it again. That crap blew up my water pump within 24 hrs I would have just needed a 110 dollar new radiator to fix the leak, which ended up costing almost $1000 after using the stop leak

Hopefully they can get the seal out with out damaging it more. Should be easy to figure out what the prart number is as it has to be a common seal in the Asin trans.
