Naturally Rooted Growers

Naturally Rooted Growers

We are a busy family of 4 starting our micro homesteading journey in Ohio on just 3 acres. Join us as we share things that work and things that did not go as planned. Between breaking ground for our garden, growing vegetables, and herbs. To adding animals to our farm for fresh pasture raised eggs and broilers. All while preserving our own food and baking from scratch. Our goal is to rely very little on grocery stores and to be as self sustainable as possible. We have a little bit of everything on here from family adventures to home life. We hope this channel helps and inspires you.

Why is he allowing the cleaved fiber to be dropped into the grass to allow someone to step on it and possibly inbedded into someone’s foot?

She was right. It is her right to protect her private property, and she definitely does not want any wires running through the well to avoid future issues with multiple service providers and their clients when it comes to deciding on its removal. Absolute respect for private property is essential: today they will place their well on it, and tomorrow they will start demolishing houses to put new roads through neighborhoods! So keeping things in order begins with the smallest things.

Lady should have a survey in hand and the property lines staked out if she’s going to claim there’s an encroachment. If she didn’t have a survey in hand and complained to me about it I’d tell her to get a survey or get lost. The infra was there already. If she had a concern about it, she should have voiced it when they were installing it, not when a guy was pulling cable through.

@@naturallyrootedgrowersI thought they were grown outside. Nice run, they will appreciate it. This week-10 days it's 111-114° , then 106° another week. The layed eggs are practically soft bouled if not picked up asap

Your a rockstar. Your not afraid of heights (seen your videos up on ladders). Your not claustrophobic - this crawl space proves that. Thats a hard no for me. Thanks for doing what you do!

  • @naturallyrootedgrowers

The cornish cross breed of chicken just grows so large and fast that its legs cant keep up. We lost 5 chickens in the 8 weeks we raised them. Its said certain organs outgrow others and cause them to pass away too soon.

@@naturallyrootedgrowers now with the extra space to move, they will exercise 😂 and probably do better. My layers are free range, but i need to contain them to grow a garden. Love your simple run idea.

What brand is the box that you attached to the side of the house, curious on that. Also, a potato/vegetable peeler works to strip off a side of the sheathing after you remove the messenger. Didn't believe it till someone showed me while working on a fiber job, seems easier then changing the blades all the time on the blue T handle stripper. Learn new things all the time when it comes to fiber, thanks for the upload.

Maybe you want to consider some suggestions for improvement: - save some time working a bit less crude with fibers, - use fresh IPA wipes for cleaning stripped fibers, - clean and maintain your equipment after working with it (clean out debris of cut fibers or coating in your cleaver and fusion splicer), - avoid 90° angles of fibers (like shown on the termination box)
