Hi, Dave here. My channel is full of interesting motorcycle journeys comprising beautiful scenery, facts, history and a bit of Irish craic thrown in for good measure. The good, bad and the ugly bike reviews. Integrity and transparency is key for me and my views will never be influenced, they are 100% my own. On top of that I’m a TV Cameraman for a living so will always keep keen eye over the latest camera tech we can use on our bikes with up to date reviews, tips and tricks. If you wish to support my channel then please feel free to buy me a coffee at www.buymeacoffee.com/wheeliegoodtv. Thanks a mill!! ☕️

Dave, in case you are in Roundwood again, The Roundwood Stores (yellow doorway beside the Coach House pub) is excellent for coffee and a snack.
This is good info. I will keep this in mind as I do love Roundwood. Thanks man 🙏
They sound like a cracking bunch 🙂 I can very much see why this would be your happy place mate.
Cheers Pete! Hope all is good mate. 🙏

Great video Dave. Ive been riding around Ireland almost 50 year's and l still get really excited about riding around our Savage coastline and sneaking through the countryside with it's 40 shades of green, absolutely beautiful 😍
Thanks Mike. I don’t think I could ever tire of this beautiful country. 👌
Now that was wheelie good tv dave
Love it! 😉👌
Great upload Dave, wonderful scenery too! They are going to have an amazing time touring Ireland. You live in a lovely part of the country over there 👍
Thanks Michael, we are blessed with this playground on our doorstep. 🙏🇮🇪
@@WheelieGoodTV that's for sure, Dave, I hope to get over on the bike next year, with a bit of luck! I live about 5 miles from Ragley Hall and ABR so I have some great riding here but struggle for time these days!
Brilliant video, it's now officially on my bucket list to do. Nice people and nice ride out, but you really need to do something with that front screen, it's very distracting.
Thank you. I’m curious what do you mean about the screen??
Enjoyed that very much, thanks. I am lucky enough to live in the Wicklow Mountains, indeed I was at Sally Gap today. Looks like you had a great time!
You’re a lucky person living there! 👌
@@WheelieGoodTV It is indeed, next time you are down this way, give me a shout and we can meet for a coffee!
Just watched on the big screen! Great video Dave!
Glad you enjoyed it! Thanks for the message.
Been there a couple of times, as you say stunning . The hotel in Glendalough is great Craic 👍
I'm glad you did the intro, because I was like- I've seen these people before from somewhere... 😁
@@cpuuk 🤣🤣 I knew it would catch a few people out.
Great vid Dave, are you still running ND filters on the DJI? If so what settings are you running please what FILTER AND ISO settings u set etc.. thanks 🙏👍
Hey, thanks! On this particular day I was running the K&N ND8 filter on the main helmet cam and the ISO range is always 100-1600 in my settings. This setup normally covers most lighting conditions in Ireland, even in the rain. Any darker and I would have removed the ND as I was pushing it though.🎥
@@WheelieGoodTV thanks for that Dave, much appreciated 👍keep up the great work 👍
@@WheelieGoodTV and your shutter speed as well?
Superb. As a fellow biker - I never tire of Wicklow. GS is at home there. Just stunning. Great laughs in this video. 🤣👊🙏
@@anthonyfox2836 cheers Anthony. These guys are only a new bunch of friends. Amazing what motorcycling does to enrich one’s life. Since I got back into bikes only four years ago, my life has changed ten fold…. And for the better. 🙏🤗
Keep those videos coming, they have opened my eyes to the beauties of Ireland. Good luck with your health I'm sure the bike is all good for it.

Great Vid Dave, good company and massive scenery… what more could you ask for.
@@tonyflavin6958 thanks Tony. Exactly mate, a bikers dream!
What a great riding group. In my area of the U S I'm surrounded by nothing but Harleys only goiny out at night. I'm guessing they've never seen deer.?? The beginning of the video was hilarious, I'm guessing he was looking for hidden bumps that you found later in the video. That part made my day. Lol. Now, I'm off for a coffee and cake b4 the sun and heat gets too oppressive. 👍👍

Looks very good. My older bike has no where to mount such thingys. I'm sure that I can make a mounting bar? What happened to the Carpuride screen?
Yeah it’s superb. Next weeks vid is a comparison between the two screens and why I chose to keep this one on the bike. Plenty of mounting options on their website if you fancy one. 👌
Thanks
Thanks so much Malcolm. Much appreciated amigo!🙏
Hi Dave, you are by far my favourite KZreadr, not to blow smoke up your arse, but please know that you are very much appreciated mate. I can totally relate to your occasional feelings of insecurity and if it helps you to talk, believe me it helps me to listen. Good luck with your health, it sounds like a timely wake up call which I’m sure you will embrace. Just quickly, at almost 65 I’m catching a train from Wakefield to Glasgow to buy a Street Triple 675R 2010 vintage and ride it home 220 miles. Only passed my test last year and biking has given me a new dimension which can’t be explained (or understood by my wife 😂) Take care.
@@malcolmkyle9452 wow what a beautiful message Malcolm. I hope I still experience that excitement and drive for bikes at 65. Safe journey home mate and enjoy that bike. 🙏
So chigee v carpuride, which is better? Also the blind spot detection works as you showed, but does it work when you turn off the screen ?? Very interesting video, cheers
All shall be revealed on next weeks vid🤗. I must check if that works when the screen is off, good question.. I’m away on hols at the moment but I’ll check when I get back.
Nice spot.
Good morning Dave - long before I bought my first motorbike, I was an amateur cyclist and always loved training in the Wicklow mountains and much later, I discovered mountain biking and regularly rode across country from Marley Park to the Guinness Lake via the Wicklow Way - even more scenic and peaceful than your road section. Thanks for your video this morning. Hope you had a good ride home.
@@brianfarrelly7151 good man Brian. You must have been fit to ride a bike with no engine, I was out of breath with 1200CC!!🤪
What a great group. Dave you are a born tour group leader. Is it obligatory to wear a black bike suit to join the club? Do not beat yourself up about a building site cafe...caffeine is important. Great vid
@@johnharrison9317 🤣 Cheers John. I suppose I’m just extremely passionate about Ireland. 🇮🇪

@@mphigham1963 it is mate, I’m wondering when they will bring out a cradle system so I can put it on my other bikes. 👌

Kinda happy it's out of my range, cuz it won't get me wanting for it's looks. 😵
Great vid Dave love your work
Good man Mark. Appreciated 🙏
Thanks for this; does the system act purely as a mirror of the phone or can it act as a stand alone gps? So if in an area with poor network coverage, will it work without having the maps downloaded to the phone in advance??
Now this is a good question. So at the moment it just mirrors the phone but it does have a gps unit which I have also installed. Rumours are in the near future they will make it a stand alone GPS because of this and also store GPX files on the SIM card. This would make it incredible. 👌
Hi, from Toronto Canada and enjoing your vfr and street triple content. I'm a VFR guy and on my second. I have a 2014 vfr contemplating to going to street triple RS. Would this be a good move since you have both even though I have a 2014 VFR 800. I like unique machines thats why I like VFRs but the triple RS interests me. Whats your take since u have both. Is the RS that much faster than the VFR.
Hi, actually they are very much alike in terms of riding position. However the RS is like it was custom made for me. It is simply the best bike I’ve ever ridden and I’ve probably ridden between 30-40 bikes. Its handling characteristics are unparalleled and combined with its light weight make it the perfect bike for me. I’ve got a video coming out in a few weeks about touring on the RS. When I ride the VFR after the RS it makes me think maybe I should sell it and I never thought I would even have those thoughts. Don’t get me wrong, the VFR is a super bike but the RS is incredible. All subjective of course but hope this helps.
Brilliant. Love it. What a great device Dave and excellent review. Pity my birthday has just passed ... maybe next year 😂👍
Hi Dave, I’ve been looking at this system for a while now and after watching your very informative video I’ve purchase the full system. Thanks for the great discount code as well. 😀👍👌🏍️
