My name is Mandy and I love to Scratch build dioramas and anything miniature. I created this channel to share what I discover in my own learning methods as I build and also what I have learned from the KZread community. I as always hope you get something from these videos as I have been fortunate to learn from this wonderful platform with the sharing of art and creativity.

Thank you for your kind comment!
I did not see the L in flocking at first haha
😂😂🤣
Please check out the full tutorial if you enjoyed this short 😊
Love the vibe on this one.
Thanks again! 😀
Lovely work.
Thank you Mr DMC 🙂
You can be so hard on yourself…. But how you build works, really well!!! Looks awesome! 🤩 😊😊😊
Thank you, Cerise, ❤ I think I end up being a bit hard on myself to keep myself in check, It's hard for me to have a standard when my style of work is "winging it" and hoping for the best 😆
@@dinkydioramas8349 and you always deliver!!!! 🤗🤗🤗
If you enjoyed this snippet, you can see the full tutorial on my channel @ Dinky Dioramas 😊
This is fantastic. You’re so good at fabrication
Thank you! That is a very fitting compliment, I appreciate that. 🙂
Looks amazing! Can't to see what you come up with!
Thank you Desirae! 😄
I cant wait to see the inside of it done
It should be fun making lots of little tables and chairs and grime...My favourite! 😂
I've been replaying FALLOUT NEW VEGAS lately and I really appreciate this!
Excellent! You must be playing the remastered version? It's a really nice open world game, there's something oddly beautiful about a post-apocalyptic world, and the detail in Fallout is just incredible, but I'm not surprized, as anything attached to Bethesda is wonderful!
@dinkydioramas8349 yes! The remastered version for sure... open world is the way to go and just spend hours exploring!
This is great idea lady, thank you for share !♥
Wow, they look so perfect. I can’t wait to try it out.
How have I just found you?!
The You tube algorithms are keeping me hidden under a rock. 😆
Mandy, I stumbled onto your channel looking for vines (for my ruined church). Wow, quite a variety of builds, from suitably disgusting old mattresses to Steam Punk airships! Now I can’t unsee your hay bales, and of course I “need” to build some. Just subscribed.
A ruined church build sounds beautiful! I've not tackled such a build yet but would love to have an attempt, old churches are just a lovely building even when not miniaturized. Would you be able to tell me the medium predominantly used for your church? I'd like to be able to imagine it through your description. PS: Yes, you do "need" to make some bales of hay! 😀
@@dinkydioramas8349 Lol. So my 3D printer seems to be permanently under the weather, so I bought 4 church window frames and a rosette frame from Etsy. Apart from that, everything was scratch built. Everything was built using XPS insulation foam, which is my material of choice. It’s meant to be an old Gothic ruin, so no roof, just three damaged walls with small buttresses. It is in 1/56 scale for wargaming using 28mm figures. I’ll be using Verrotwood as the rules. You should Google that rule set, as it is a small folk horror game.
@@crhkrebs It sounds like a very beautiful piece of work, XPS is a great choice, it has to be the most versatile building medium you can possibly use. I had a look at Verrotwood and am intrigued by images of old West towns people have created to play on...I'll have to look further into it, it looks like there are a lot of unique builders out there creating tabletop boards and pieces for Verrotwood.
Great work..!
That’s really is a good idea and they look amazingly realistic! Greetings from Portsmouth England 🏴
Thank you very much! And G'day from NSW Aus. 🙂👋
Nice idea with how you made the buttons! The creases look so real!
XPS foam is an amazing medium to use, the way it takes impressions is perfect for scratch building.
Loving the shorts for smaller detail builds like these. Can't wait for your next vid though, your narration adds a lot.
Thank you, Alexander! I'm currently working on part one of the Drumlin Diner from Fallout 4, it will be out within a week. 🤫🙂
If you would like to see the full tutorial, check it out on my channel 😊
Great... Million thanks for sharing..
Youre very welcome!
Did you rinse out the cleaning agent out of the baby wipes before putting them in the glue? This looks so incredibly good; I can't wait to try this myself.
Yes, I did give the wipes a good rinse, more because I wanted to give the glue and water mix a chance to be absorbed into the wipes, as they were already filled with wet cleaning agent. The more you wring them out, the more glue will be absorbed and the thicker and stronger the wipe will become once dry. Have fun, 🙂it's a great process and interesting to play with.
Love all of the options 😊😊😊
Thank you Cerise!! 😘
@@dinkydioramas8349 you are welcome 🤗
That's good.
Nossa! Que legal? Obrigada por ajudar! Que massa é essa?
I used (light weight poly filler) for the mortar and foam core board for the bricks.

Hello Mandy, you found nice thing for bases:) Thx for sharing your ideas with us! I hope you will find more and more interesting things for bases:) 👋 Best wishes, Stubenmuckel:)
Hi there Stubenmuckel, it's amazing what you can use as a diorama base isn't it? Hopefully small bases will help me not to make my dioramas so big, I'm running out of room in my house. 😆I hope you have a great week! 🙂Kind regards, Mandy.
Great ideas, thank you. I loved your city in a pot video
Youre so welcome! 🙂
I love it! you are so darn talented. keep showing your work

No worries, and thank you!
More creative ideas that inspire us. Thank you!
That's what I love to hear, and thank you! 🤗
Fantastic job!
Thank you so much! 😄
Heya Mandy, all this little nice things. Adorable!
Thank you!! 😁
I've learned so much! And I've been making 1:12 scale dios for years I love the different ways people perceive things aside of my own
Thats what I love about You Tube, we get to watch others create things in a way we might never have imagined, and then we can expand those ideas as original techniques. Without you Tube, I wouldn't have known what a diorama was. I'm just so happy to send back out what was given to me due to this platform. 🙂
@@dinkydioramas8349 that's exactly correct we will forever grow!!
What a great idea 💡

Luv the water. It's awesome. Would really make a waterfall come to life.
