Hello Mandy, this brick wall is really nice ❤🖤🤍! I made many brick walls, but I learned something new: the use of poly filler. Really helpfull. My brick walls are nice, but the next time I use filler too. It is fun to look how you create parts of the world:) Thx for teaching me always something new and inspiring me to make things in another way with more materials and other materials than I used until now. the list of things I want to buy for drawing, painting and making dioramas is longer now. Not as long as a toilet paper roll, but long enough. I hope you had a very nice christmas time! And I hope you will have nice Sylvester hours. May the next year a year with good health for you. I think an industrial warehouse style building is an excellent choice for a first diorama, you're going to learn a lot of excellent techniques as a foundation for future work. You'll be hooked in no time! 🙂

A little tip is to spray the wall with varnish before you add the filler. Helps stop the paint coming off

Awesome as always! Looking for something I can build to use this technique because it seems easy to do, but looks very realistic. I started my first diorama because of you, so everything you post has been so helpful and very beginner friendly even when your work looks FAR from beginner. Such awesome results, always! I'm so happy to know I've inspired you to build, it's a wonderful passion and hobby that enriches our lives in so many ways! Perhaps you could think about creating a brick fireplace for a build, that way you can decide what you would like to do with the fireplace, or even an external brick chimney, or a brick foundation for a building...There are so many options you will be spoiled for choice! Have a wonderful time creating your brickwork. ❤😃

@@desiraemonique Plus it's also a good practice g. I always make prototypes and practice pieces before I ever use them in a build, often things turn out in very unexpected ways. This gives you a chance to play with it and perfect it...That will give you the inspiration you need to use it on a build. 😃

I have been drawing up plans and troubleshooting ideas for a Japanese villa diorama. The Japanese style of architecture is so beautifully simplistic and has a lot of cubist/ art deco styles incorporated, I'm drowning in ideas! If you have any suggestions, I would love to know your thoughts. 🙂

@@dinkydioramas8349 Sounds like a great idea; zen garden, bento box, bamboo, etc.. If you're looking for suggestions outside the Japanese theme, why not try making something relatively abstract but in a specific style (eg, Tim Burton, Van Gogh, Cubist, Surrealist, etc..) - that level of experimentation lets you experiment & get outside your regular comfort-zone, allowing you to learn entirely new techniques & approaches. Keep up the great work & hope you had a Merry xmas & a wonderful new year

@@earthmanbrick Youve got some wonderful ideas! I would love to become more of an artistic builder, though I am unsure if I would have a viewer base for videos that are less of a diorama tutorial. I am struggling to build the channel and would love to be a bit of a creative show off, but I don't think my viewers would enjoy that very much lol. Maybe try setting up a poll of a few ideas you'd like to explore & find out what your fans think
