Great tip! I have been using the method of pressing and rolling the foam on the edge of a table... but this looks like it might work better!

Oh you'll get a buzz out of doing it this way, when I first bent a thick piece of foam into a tight curve I got a pretty good adrenaline rush from it lol. Have fun! 😀

Fascinating. I've done similar, with EVA, mostly for costume pieces. I didn't think XPS would behave like this. Thanks for the tip!

Have a play with the XPS at different thicknesses and lengths, you will be absolutely amazed at how it bends and curves!

Worked very well and have never thought about this. Saving this in the bank of things to do, you sound like a fellow Australian as well mate :D

You're going to have a blast playing with the foam when you feel it bend and then cool as it holds it's shape, it's pretty exciting to feel how mailable it is. And yep I sure am a fellow Aussie 😃

Thank you, I'll definitely do this! I have a decent supply of XPS so I'm glad especially now there is a shortage. I also ordered EVA cosplay foam which didn't hold shape as well as I thought but can try your method now so thankyou!❤

I am unsure, I strongly suggest you test it out with some measure of patience as it is likely foam board will snap if you bend it too quickly. Please let me know if it worked when you have a go at it, I'm very curious to know. 🙂
