Thank you Qiwiman! I just love how easy it is to simply accentuate the grain in the wood, it really takes care of itself this way.

Awesome. Simply awesome. This is fantastic. It reminds me of a toy town I had in the 70s called Dead Mans gulch with model buildings. (nothing ike these of course - These are insane. I went shopping yesterday. I was getting in trouble for using my wife's household supplies (haha just finished my first little diorama). Hint for those happily married - Do Not use your wifes chopping board and sponges for a base. (well it wont warp and it was ....there.)

I'd love to see to see the lantern and barrel tutorial! I'd also love a tutorial on the wagon you were thinking about adding to this diorama, if you decide to add/create on of course (Perhaps rounded xps for wheels and the stirrers). The build is amazing! Love when you get to the details, the crates, bench, posters, the pops of color make it look so alive!

I'll make up the little videos on the lantern and barrels next Desirae, that will give me time to work out the bugs in those wagon wheels for the next instalment on the diorama. And you're right the little details do make it look alive with colour, that's a terrific way of describing it! PS I've considered XPS foam for the rounded parts of the wheels but I'm concerned about how strong they might be, I think strips of polymer clay might be a solution, what do you reckon?

Awesome! I love your smaller tutorials too, I'm slowly working on a RDR2 diorama, well a larger book nook so I love seeing you bring the world alive too! Oh, you're right, xps might be a bit flimsy. Clay would probably work much better, then you could add some wood detail right to the clay!

@@desiraemonique Yeah, i reckon I might have a better chance of adding detail to the clay also, i like the way you think! Please do feel free to send me pics of your work on FB or Instagram if you would like to do so. I really love seeing fellow crafters creations, and I would love to check out your RDR book nook, it sounds amazing!

Hiya Mandy, I am a great fan of your vids. You know it :) I like this diorama so much! It is not easy to write something, that I never wrote in the comments. So I am using the same word as every time: wonderful💙. Fantastic detailed and inspiring me to dream a western story tonight. As always: have a good time this week and the following time until a new video. Best wishes your Stubenmuckel :)

I love this so much. I take a thousand screenshots of what I want to make in that game. Like I said before Algernon Wasps greenhouse is going to be a big build for me. I made a gazebo and am a third of a way through making a stagecoach. I don't have instagram but I can email you pics if you want.

Sry - not hijacking the comment section - Just wondered if you've done a Willow tree. Im doing a diorama of the Kiwa River in Mt Beaty (Near Bright Vic) winding through a caravan park for my parents. theyre both in their late 80s and would love it(childhood holidays) and Willlows are a must. I have ideas, but your stuff is next level. Edit - Your parsnips and pumpkins in the crate.......wanted posters... all of it....Holey crap. Insane. Another edit - (I must not comment until Ive seen the WHOLE videos) - The way you painted the "shadows" with that brown wash - It adds so much. Going to shut up now. But WOW.

It's all good youre not high jacking the comment section at all! And no i have never done a willow tree, though thats a nice idea, I imagine it wouldnt be an easy thing to make. I may have to consider doing a video on this.😃 It sounds like your diorama is going to be absolutely amazing! I love natural setting dioramas, theyre really dreamy to look at.

It's a lot more challenging and rewarding working on a smaller scale PLUS you can make more of these dioramas because they take up less space in your home lol...Win Win! 😉
