Football is one of the easiest for access. But it also comes down to who wants to play what. Your point on Chinese and Indian sports representation is a good example. That’s similar to looking at who chooses to play rugby league. And who competes in tennis, horse jumping etc. Those seemingly more a wealth or class entry. Sport is an easy one to pick. His experience within journalism is different and no surprise. It’s a complete reversal of racism. And yet gender bias is more openly accepted. Not just said off record, but also in writing. Policies that take preference over female candidates.
