One near me has been paid for by Welsh taxpayers, muslims chipped in £250,000 and was then awarded a grant of £250,000 for the rest of completion. The local scout hall closed for good, the local community centre can only afford to open 3 days a week and all coach trips for the elderly have been permenantly cancelled, it's touch and go if the library stays open. Why? Because the Welsh Assembly and local council can't afford to fund these projects. If we complain we are told we are racist.

As a immigrant being in UK for 20 years I agree 100%. It’s getting out of hand. I had to adapt to British culture. Why nowadays British have to adapt to Islam? People do not travel from around the world to see mosque as they have that in countries nearer to them. This generation of British lack strength and pride. It’s a shame to see a great country like Britain being invaded from within. Good tax people are leaving Britain everyday because of this. Including Europeans that made their lives here for years. It’s just become too much. Some areas in UK they don’t even speak English. Politics is not the answer as that has been compromised already. I’m starting to believe it’s too late. Many English prominent people have turn their backs and move away. No one left to lead and fight for what’s left. So sad 😢

They bought a property in Texas and built a mosque next to a pig farm. Then they took the owner of the pig farm to court trying to make him stop raising and selling pigs. They lost. Then the farmer started having public barbq's on Sunday and made it into a big party with lots of loud music. :>)

I think you have the same problem we have in the states. It seems the people always expect someone else to take care of the problem. The people must stand up as one before it is too late.

I have no issues with different ethnicities and cultures speaking within themselves in their own languages. What I have issues with would be if any of them patently refused to reach out to the others and share their ideas and let others share their ideas using the common language that is English, allowing cultural barriers to be torn down and social cohesion to be maintained. That is the opposite of multiculturalism if you ask me

My Great grand father died for his country, his name is on the war memorial in Luton, . I thank God that he didn’t see what the Britain he died for has become,

I'm a proud, white English christian living in mombasa kenya. Lots of churches, lots of mosques, lots of christians and lots of muslims here. And not a hint of a problem. No anger or hatred between the 2 religions. No tension or violence. Everybody gets on goes about their daily lives. 99.9% of christians and muslims are good decent hardworking people. Dont blame muslims for the problems in britain today. Blame succesive weak governments going back decades for failing to address or deal with social and cultutral integration and for allowing unchecked and unsustainable immigration.

Too true. I love my country and I've come to also love the phrase, "I want my country back!" To those who have the gaul to ask "Was it ever yours in the first place?" my answer is, "Yes it was." If it were possible then ask my dad who had both his legs shot away on the battlefields of Europe; ask my three uncles who never returned from that war; ask the people of Coventry, Birmingham, Liverpool, London and everywhere else who suffered for this nation. If they could speak then they would tell you. Our country has been steadily given away by politicians who are often of the same ilk as those to whom they gave it. Note though, there'll ALWAYS be an England!

A question. . .How did these people obtain planning permission to build these eyesores? If I put different coloured tiles on my roof, that don't match the rest in the area, I would be obliged to remove them!

The politicians of the last 50 years should not be forgiven. In particular Mr Blair and Madelson. Rise up Britain vote all of the main parties out. A vote for Tory or Labour is a vote against the British way of life

When you vote for Conservative or Labour or worse don't vote you are choosing to be replaced.

You say "When are you going to do it". Are you against people rightfully taking their country back or are you waiting for others to do it for you?

Here in NZ we have a request to broadcast the call to prayer as well as mosques. Can you imagine hearing that 5 times a day

Some 20 years ago I saw Anjem Choudary say by 2050 the Islamic crescent will be flying outside Buckingham Palace. We've already had it outside Westminster Abbey so he's probably overestimated. We're almost there already.

Most people can’t get planning permission for an extension if the chimney is visible above a neighbour’s hedge.

This is how Lebanon a majority Christian country fell. Muslims moved in till they were majority then the slaughter of Christian’s started. Look up Bridget Gabriel who was born in Lebanon living through all this, she explains a brutal account what happened.

Islamic law says that a mosque must have the highest spier in the area, even if there is a church nearby the mosque's spier has to be higher. Mosque's adhere to Islamic building regulations not British building regulations.

That's not the case in Egypt where you'll find Orthodox churches and Mosques in the same small area. Church spires there are massive.

A beautiful old church few blocks from my house is now a mosque. It won’t be too long before I’ll hear loud chants. The British don’t have the apetite to go to church anymore so i think it was sold and turned into a mosque. That church was so beautiful.

The English stopped attending church. That left a vacuum.

A vote for Labour is a vote for Islam, not voting because you're fed up is also a vote for Islam. For a British person to say they do not feel they are in their homeland shows there is a serious problem. This must not be allowed and there should be laws to protect the British country values, beliefs and culture. These people need to be put in their place and the word 'NO' is well underused and now should be redressed. Let's get used to saying NO!

My son had digs in the heart of a Muslim area (not London) that had a huge Mosque at the end of the street, he suffered a few instances of racism spat on once and had a car swerve towards him another time were the worst instances. All the houses were badly maintained and you had to open a iron gate to get to the front door that opened straight on the street, it didn’t even have a yard as they were back to back houses. It was quite a scary area if you were white but I reckon students were the only ones that were.

There are over 40,000 church buildings in Britain, about a third of which are in England. The only thing that rivals them is pubs. Halloween is not a traditional British thing even though all hallows is. Trick or treating was never a thing in my childhood rather it was bonfire night and a penny for the guy. You quote a figure for mosques in Europe parts of which anyway historically were Muslim anyway. Spires and towers in general add interest to a sky line, not sure at all what this whinge is about. Humans come in all varieties what is most important is to get along and not act entitles and as though we are in someway superior. We should enjoy the ability to see the differences and still be tolerant and fair humans. In my city there are Muslims and Sikhs feeding the homeless every night even though most of the homeless are neither. That is because their faith encourages them to care for those with less.

Our demographic has been changed and we're losing our identity. Our wants and needs are put to one side to accommodate those from other countries who do not share our culture, beliefs and traditions.

Although Im Irish, I miss the old England too. I somethmes watch BBC tv productions to immerse myself in the old world.. They did some amazing ghost stories based on MR James stories.

It's all about divide and rule - while the working classes are squabbling over immigration they are not concentrating on what the ruling classes are up to.
