Just the balance changes, France has more links with North Africa so more from there whereas we have most from Pakistan and India. You don't know what you're talking about! During world war 2, every empire was brought to its knees! British, French, German, USSR, Japanese and Chinese. So it was your "Tommy's" that asked India (the great British raj) Bangladesh, Pakistan, various west Indian countries and African countries, to come to the UK and help rebuild the kingdom, in exchange for the independence of their country. Fast forward 70 years and 2-3 generations, we have what we have here. Please do a little research? Again, in a twisted way, they're actually helping more then you think. 95% of those people work, which means they pay tax, which means everything that makes the country operational, NHS, schools, fire brigade, police, army, refuse collection, infrastructure, etc is paid through them. Now where this "immigration" can turn sour is when they try to impose their views and beliefs on people, even attack people because they're different, but I'm sure none of these people have or even would. Case and point, they have just as much right to be here as you, maybe more, since there were many "immigrants" in world war 2, immigrants that had nothing to do with it.

I am a Spanish woman. I lived in London for a few years and left when I realised London wasn't a 'Western' city no more. I worked in an Italian restaurant and the manager was a Muslim. He made my life hell when he found out I was gay. Still , he seemed to have more support than l did. I returned to my country where l feel safe and sound to be a gay woman. London has certainly been taken.
