Eating food, ice cream or smoking on public city busses is banned in my country as well. But it’s the principle of the case that this man is trying to get this woman to comply with rules of what is clearly his religion but not hers. He’s a bully, and he is rude and arrogant.

She was so much more polite than I would have been.

Did you know that committed Christians regularly fast. Sometimes even for days without eating at night. You don't hear about Christians fasting because they do it privately between them and God. Thats how fasting is supposed to be done. This guy seems to be looking for credit from his fellow muslim pals for fasting during ramadan. No doubt, he sent the video he recorded to his mates.

People eat and drink on the buses in my area. No signage, either. There are on the train, which never made sense to me, cause the thing has a food trolley.

I think there's no food allowed to be eaten on public transport which is to stop stinky smells and stop spilled food that can inconvenience of others.
