Barbary pirates slave descendents don't exist as the men were castrated . There may have been offspring from the women and their slavers but the dna lines will be well mixed in by now. BUT some of the captives were ransomed and returned.

I'm gobsmacked they are paying this to people who do not need it when so many English people are in need.

It's all they got. No chance they can support themselves.

My family never had slaves and never wanted them. They lived in Africa and didn't steal from anyone. The Africans in Mozambique stole everything from the family including bank accounts and housing. Family relocated to South Africa. Eventually it went the same way too and finally moved out of Africa lucky to be alive. Where's my reparations? I doubt this lady would help in the slightest.

The difference between the slave trade and the Holocaust is completely obvious, the slave trade ended hundreds of years ago but the Holocaust is still within living memory for some people who were small children in concentration camps during the last war.

Also the holocaust was against one race the Jews, white people were still being slaved in some parts of the world up until the early 1900s, Castration was the first thing on the agenda before putting them to work

Legally reparations can only be made to survivors of actual harm. This means that descendants have no right to reparations. This whole argument could be nipped in the bud but is being perpetuated by the media, including so-called alternative media. The discussion should be about slavery, going on even today and worldwide. Historically the transatlantic slave trade went on for 300 years. Compare that to the islamic slave trade which has operated for more than 1400 years and is still going on in Africa, Pakistan, Arab states, etc. Reparations is click bait for the uninformed.

What about reparations for the Irish? They were taken as slaves some 10 -15 yrs before Africans. And what about the tribes in Africa paying reparations? They SOLD the slaves to Europeans and benefitted!

I wrote to the Archbishop of Canterbury to tell him not to apologies on my behalf for something I had ,nor have,anything to do with. I also told him the small amount of my contribution to our church costs every week goes to the church authorities but as I did nt choose to contribute to this I want mine back. Whilst our churches are becoming impossible to heat due to renewable energy costs ,being abandoned and falling down he is like ceasar fiddling while Rome burns. An archbishop who concentrates on his job is pribably too much to hope for.

A few years ago here in England, I had a friend I initially met online through pro-British circles, We hung out in real life after realising we live nearby, and at the time I thought he was pro-British, pro-white, anti-Islam, etc. He later went to Poland and got a Polish wife as he said that Polish women are more traditional than British women. He also became Christian, and together they had kids. Years have gone by without hearing from him, and just recently I got back in touch with him. I sent him some youtube video links to probe his reactions and gauge where he's at politically. Only just today did something bring out his true colours, History Debunked's new video about the £1 million statue for muslims. This friend then went on a crazed pro-Islam screed, accusing me of knowing nothing about history or Islam, and that he visited Muhammad's grave, and that child marriage was normal back then, all the pro-paedophilia, pro-slavery stuff. He said David Wood, Apostate Prophet, Robert Spencer, Hatun Tash (leading Islamic scholars) knew nothing about Islam, etc. I tried voice calling him but he said he's too tired to talk, despite lacking no energy to type. Ultimately all the things he was saying was him being pro-Islam, and anti-Britain and anti-European. I was amazed that this guy who I thought was a British patriot years ago, has now become a full blown traitor.

The only people who should receive reparations are the indigenous people of the Caribbean, the true West Indians who lost their islands to West Africans who are from an entirely different continent. If West Africans born in Europe or the Caribbean want reparations, then they should also be willing to accept repatriation back to West Africa. If it weren't for slavery, which I think was wrong, then people like this woman would have been born in her ancestral homeland of West Africa and would not be enjoying the high standard of living she and her fellow West Africans are accustomed to in the UK, Europe, and the West Indies.

Please someone challenge her on the part Africans played in selling other Africans to the slavers. It is doubtful their would have been a west African slave trade without the involvement of Africans selling other Africans.

Breeding shows and she had none. Obviously she couldn’t afford the class on manners 😀.
