"They DON'T Want To Integrate!" - Douglas Murray On 'Multiculturalism' In Britain "Not Working"

Prime Minister Rishi Sunak used a Friday evening address to warn that democracy is being targeted by extremists.
Mr Sunak said there are “forces here at home trying to tear us apart”.
Speaking at a lectern outside the doors of No 10 Downing Street, Mr Sunak warned about the current situation in Britain, in the aftermath of the October 7 attacks by Hamas against Israel.
And he said the victory of George Galloway in the Rochdale by-election was “beyond alarming”.
“In recent weeks and months, we have seen a shocking increase in extremist disruption and criminality,” he said in a hastily arranged address to the nation.
“What started as protests on our streets have descended into intimidation, threats and planned acts of violence.
“Jewish children, fearful to wear their school uniform lest it reveals their identity. Muslim women abused in the street for the actions of a terrorist group they have no connection with.
“Now our democracy itself is a target. Council meetings and local events have been stormed. MPs do not feel safe in their homes. Long-standing parliamentary conventions have been upended because of safety concerns.
“And it’s beyond alarming that last night, the Rochdale by-election returned a candidate that dismisses the horror of what happened on October 7, who glorifies Hezbollah and is endorsed by Nick Griffin, the racist former leader of the BNP.”
Douglas Murray says the PM should tackle multiculturalism if he fears 'extremists target UK democracy'.
"They don't want to integrate! We have a very rich history, we push it aside to sell ourselves as an uber-liberal landing spot for the world!"

Use their truncheons more on those disobeying lawful orders. Give out heavy fines. Send them to prison for a month. Use the military if necessary. This country never has enough money to satisfy every department so you would think government would prioritise. The first priority NOW and ALWAYS is the safety and security of us citizens. Think of all the nurses, doctors, medicines you could buy with that if everyone who settled in this country had to speak English. If you obtain unemploment benefits you are supposed to make yourself available for work. How can you if you cannot communicate with your fellow workers or customers. Why are these people thus getting benefits. When my husband was unemployed he had to prove he had applied for jobs every week, was interviewed and asked if he could go for retraining if he could not find a job, was threatened with having his benefit withdrawn if he did not make more of an effort to find a job. Athiestic views as we've seen does not have a value system and even if it does, does not enforce it. Likewise, the lack of religion has resulted in people losing importance in what really matters, family, kindness and love which transcends the future of a nation. With athiesm, People do as they please and sooner than later will be overhauled by a belief system that is enforced within family units, marriage and growing.

I oppose the Abrahamic religions specifically because they impose an arbitrary but sacrosanct value system, therefore stymying any attempt to arrive at a rational and consistent one. The question: do you want to drink beer? is of no relevance to whether or not you want to drink water. In the same way, Christianity is irrelevant to whether or not we want Islam.
