SIGN OF THE TIMES - GAYS ARE A WIN WIN SITUATION - #LOVEWINS
With Stephanie, the former KKK member, there are a lot of whites who think and feel the same way that's why they "white flight" (their fear of black crime), but they would never openly and publicly say it.
I love all the big hair! 💯
The lesbian's mother seems to be gay herself. But, in her day and time could not accept it.
My favorite queens from the 80s are dead now. One began in the late 60s... Syn Cooper did a stellar Lena Horne impression. Interesting, no one wore corsets here, nor blocked their eyebrows and moved them way up the way they do today.
Thank you for the upload of your home movies.. Its just the nostalgic moment i needed.. Born in the late 70s myself.
By this time he was competing with Springer and other trash shows and I think some of these were goosed up to compete with that garbage
Phil did not look good in a sweater. LOL. He was he best. Thanks for sharing.
Are you the Brad Hurtado that purchased the old Vernors sign in Detroit?
Hi Chris, yes, that's me. How did you know that bit of information???
@@Bradh1961 just a little research.. did anything ever become of the sign? I read an article from years ago ..I think the Detroit free press
if i'm not mistaken this was the closing performance of the show. i had seen the tour sometime in the fall of 2001 in Seattle - i remember as the cast spoke afterward about the impact of 9/11 on the industry and they were raising money for the relief effort at ground zero. i was a teenager and found the entire production wildly thrilling, but this part was what stuck in my mind the most. it was exciting to see it again when it aired on PBS, especially as the thrust stage was very different than the Paramount Theatre in Seattle, and the intimacy of it all was especially neat. watching this again leaves me feeling very emotional. happy, mostly, but wowza what a trip. thank you so much for posting this. also, when the pregnant woman gets up and starts to dance to the opening of the Bizet piece, i still laugh as loudly now as i did 23 years ago. great stuff, really.
I miss the other parts so much 😭😭 is there any possible way for you to upload them again? 🥹☺️ it’s been years and I still think about the beyond the sea dance bit!!
I love love love this. Showing it this Sunday in worship
BB was à genius BB ETAIT UN GENIE,
Nice sweater Phil 😆 You could only get away with that in the 90s
I too, would like to see Moondance restored to the curtain call. I always watched for a tour of this Susan Stroman classic to see it live. It never happened.
I wish there were recordings available. It doesn't list in any PBS catalogs and as such, they always deny availability. I think the only availability is from the small fan base that truly love this musical for its marvelous dance sequences.
Thank you so much for posting this video. Denny Dent was one of my classmates at Oakland High School and a good friend. I am so sorry that we lost him so soon. He gave us an outstanding show of his artistic skills at one of our class reunions. It was great.
I must be missing something. This isn't a musical it's a contemporary ballet company. And pretty ordinary.
So sad they closed in 2018. I'm from Huron and went to the plays as a young girl where I first saw Ron Leibman in a couple of plays and thought THAT man is going somewhere!
There is a house not far from me (I live in Australia) that was built by a family that is heavily influenced by FLW’s work. It was up for sale one day and it was open house, it was stunning to say the least. All the fine details, the colours and built in furniture was used. The new owners gutted it and restored it with better quality materials and modern heating/electricity etc… I also went out with an Architect long ago who went to Falling Water for the day and somehow was there at night time as well with the property custodian who pointed out the house is very different at nighttime. She said it very moving and reminded her of going to a beautiful church. I’ll get there one day…..
Hi Honey. I’m home! It’s hard to imagine coming home to this amazing piece of architecture.
People who enjoyed this is sick no excuses
I like her on Selena
🎉 I love this babe!! Grace is Blessed ❤
Music is distracting, couldn’t finish the video😢 I’ve been to all of these properties- they are beautiful.
Great series, I am watching it on ACORN here in America. You can't find it's music CD's for love or money, Richard Pleasance did a terrific job composing for the series.
Hey there, Mike! Thanks for the message and I'm glad you've found the series on Acorn!
One of the best things I've done in my life was to visit Falling Water before I left Pennsylvania.
The Video has an amazing vibe!.. Welldone.
Blues, promenade
This year’s tulips were beautiful pink! I am so excited!
Brad, I am one of the guests in this episode and wanted to know if there was a way in which I could find the original episode. I LOVE Phil and despite the fact the audience hated me I loved everyone who worked for him (viewers have no idea how much work goes into each episode) and my entire experience. I was lucky enough to spend some time with Phil in the green room but it wasn’t enough. Do you keep in touch with Phil or your other coworkers? Paula Silas was shocked when I told her I knew her dad (I’m from Seattle) but wasn’t thrilled when I took the stage at SNL because she was afraid Lorne Michaels would be mad (she said he was working all the time regardless of the day or time or the fact their studio was dark). I’m so grateful you posted this. Totally made my day. Thank you!
Do you have more higher resolution version of this video? I really love this video and I think I got some greed for that 😅 anyway thank you so much for this lovely video ☺️
Ok ,, for the better part of i don't know how long I've been looking for this musical, i saw just a part of it on PBS way back when ,especially the third act ! Found it for a short time but lost it ,I would like to see it again , but if I could if ANYONE knows where I can find it I would be grateful,,,, thank you :)
I love this dance. Very neat to see Ann Reinking doing it

Blues, Promenade,Mambo, Cha Cha, Meeting Scene, Jump, Maria
Thank you for sharing! Only 7 miles south of Fallingwater is the FLW-designed Kentuck Knob. He designed it for the Hagans of Hagan Ice Cream fame. Hagan's dairy provided the ice cream for Kaufman's restaurant in his Pittsburgh store. You could have seen this stunning home, also.
I Love It.
Thanks for sharing. I only knew about the waterfall house, now I want to see all 4.😃
Of course the family couldn't afford Wright in 1964, (The Balter House)...he died in 1959!
Interesting and no doubt Wright was a genius. But some of those rooms looked awfully small, almost claustrophobic. I love the large fireplaces though.
I saw the show in 1970 San Francisco. I love it ever since. Wish I had seen Sean Hayes. Beautiful music.
That was marvelous ✨ 🌟 🌟
This is torture. The poor animal is dying and in pain and everyone is watching and clapping. It's way more brutal than I thought it was.
This is great! I always wondered what a musical based on The Apartment, a favorite film of mine, would look like.
A tradition and culture can be almost anything anything, which is why I get frustrated when I see people saying bullfighting is cruel not culture. Because it is a culture, a brutal and cruel culture but without a single doubt a culture.
Damn, I love this lady!
I think it's interesting how even if you're appalled by the violence against the animals, almost everyone says they want the man to get hurt. It's like we're still so primal deep down.
Would people be marveling at this absolute disgusting culture if this was dogs instead of bulls? This is not art. This is not exciting. This is not ok. Just because something is tradition, doesn’t make it ok.
All these hearted comments, dude. Chill
