Our 1881 townhouse in Brooklyn is mid-gut renovation and we're finally installing the sixteen new windows made in Ireland and shipped on a slow container across the ocean. We're using Kleerwall Windows, called Munster Joinery in Europe, and they're rated for a Passive house, even though our house is no where near that energy efficient. They're just great windows at a price that beats American brands like Marvin or Andersen. We put in a deposit on this order five years ago when we THOUGHT our renovation was about to happen. FINALLY we're taking delivery and getting our first look at them in our home. (With some very unfortunate bumps along the way, of course!!)
