This will rot out in a year or two. So, rust is like cancer, you have to cut it all out or it will come back. You should've used weld-through primer, and actually paint the bare metal with at least something, preferably a rust converter like POR-15. Then leave a drain hole and a spot to spray in fluid film. Anyone looking to do this this is a great example of WHAT NOT TO DO! Hell you didn't even weld in the factory plug weld holes.

Hey awesome video!! So I have a 2016 F-250 6.7 L I just got through changing out my vacuum pump because I thought that was the problem because my brakes were also hard the reason why I changed out the vacuum pump it was already leaking for over a year so I decided to install a new one so as soon as I put everything back together I realized that it was the brake booster so do i have to drain all of the coolant from the radiator or just enough to remove the reservoir? And you also talked about a pipe underneath the reservoir that has a clip that you have to pull up now what is that and where does that go to? This will be my first time changing out the brake booster as well and also again thank you for the video I know you said it was a nightmare but I'm prepared for it!!😂.......thank you Arthur........

Thanks

@@arthurcastaneda9969 I honestly couldn’t for the life of me remember, I just went out and checked, the right hand side, as you said, is a hose for the vacuum, the left hole is a wired sensor that presses into the hole with an o ring, just pull on it to remove and push it in to the new unit when reinstalling.
