Fully paint matching my 7.3 powerstroke!
Paint matching my mirrors, door handles, and tailgate latch the right way on my 2000 single cab stick shift 7.3 powerstroke
materials:
Sand paper: 180 grit and 400 grit
Red scuff pad
Wax and grease remover
Tack cloth
3m fine line tape
Shopline jp202 high build primer/ sealer
(Mix it 4:1 with hardener for primer and mix 3:1:1 with reducer to use as sealer)
Shopline+ basecoat with shopline slow temp reducer
Shopline jc630 clearcoat with slow hardener
Tools:
Onyx DA sander
Blow gun
Harbor freight green gun for primer
For sealer base and clear I used my sata mini jet 4

I will be replaying this video someday in the future, those tab locations n barb in or out explanations are priceless! Greatly reduces my chances of breakage. Thank you dude!
love the longer videos and how to’s 🤝🏼 and as far as the mirror lights go i’d just order new ones and do both the top and bottom

On your mirror lights I would like to see both lights working because that is the way they are from the factory. But the decision is yours though. Lol! Looks great otherwise.

The bottom is running light and top is turn signal, that 100% wont happen but I might have both light up or just the running light, my 6.7 has switchbacks where they both light up and both turn orange when turning

What do you mean by regular paint stores? Not sherwin williams or lowes etc but this is from painters supply
