The Charismatic Voice

Welcome to The Charismatic Voice!

We're a community of people who love good music and great singing. Our videos strive to dive deeper into the artists you adore so that we can better understand what makes them so dang good. Videos premier every Monday, Tuesday and Friday at 8AM AZ Time.

Our operatic founder and vocal guru, Elizabeth Zharoff, has multiple degrees in music and voice from the Curtis Institute of Music, Oberlin Conservatory, and Berklee College of Music. She's also a voice science nerd. Mrs. Zharoff has performed in 18 languages, throughout major venues in Europe, Asia, and North America. She has a uniquely modern career which bridges the gap between voice and technology, and aims to demystify singing for all.

Elizabeth's also a total geek who loves gaming, astronomy, Christmas, Disney, Nutella, and of course - discovering new music!

Elizabeth! I played this in my first garage band. We didn't have a singer so we learned to be a trio with an imaginary awesome singer. The cops came into the garage one day. They asked us to play Zep Dazed and Confused. We rocked it, They loved it! Thanks for bringing back memories!!!

Echoes, Silence, Patience & Grace is peak Foo Fighters, in my opinion. Twelve tracks, no filler, and a surprising amount of dynamics not normally found since the Loudness War. I think the intro on the record is actually even quieter than in the music video. If you look at the waveforms for songs like But Honestly and Come Alive, it's remarkable seeing how dynamic they are.

I wish people would react to something for Wasting Light, like "Rope" or "Arlandria" or "I should have Known"

"I wanna learn so much more about rap, that's one of those questions I have" Tech n9ne is the rap to do that, please if you ever get into it, and review it, Tech is the #1 best place to start. It doesn't get any better than him. I've seen him live, listened to every song, been a fan for decades! It doesn't get any better than him. Wholesome, talented, real rap in a nut shell. Please listen to him for your rap branch out into music! You wont be disappointed. He does rap, rap/metal, rap/rock, rap/EDM. Dude even has his own record label "strange music" and it features accomplished artists, which in a nutshell is exactly what you do as a KZread channel. Please check him out! :)

I love how much you dig the guitar solos. That dimebag-esque squealy at the end of that solo was sick. Dump the strings with the whammy bar and then woooOOOOooo 😂 except this guy here kinda sounded like he did it in reverse. Which is also pretty sick 👌💯🤘

I just have to add that I was 13 when MTv launched and have seen MANY MANY MANY music vids lol. Foo Fighter's music vids were absolutely epic (check out 'Low' with Jack lol) the last best music videos belong to the Foo Fighters. Edit: Anyone know the origin of their name? I could google it, but I am inherently lazy lol.

I've always thought that if Aliens ever landed on Earth we should send Dave Grohl to meet them. He's just the absolute best of us and and a constant inspiration despite the fact I have literally 0 to do with music or creating art. The one celebrity that every single anecdote I see on the internet of people interacting with him is just so positive. You should definitely check out his auto-biography.

Don’t take 80’a videos dance routines too serious. Music videos were meant to be a little silly. They were geared for a teenager audience.

Chris Isaak is the love child of Elvis & Roy Orbison & God bless those guys, he's better than both of them! That voice is absolutely amazing! I have followed his career & loved him since he hit the scene in 1989! He has been under the radar & overlooked his entire career because of that stupid pigeonholing for record sales purposes. Is he rockabilly, retro, outlaw country, rock? How do we categorize his music?

I really appreciated the reaction and vocal analysis of this music video! It actually reminded me of another song you analyzed a few months ago of Rise Against -Savior! soft intro, and near the ending; inserting the soft intro again! Speaking of which. Rise Against -Hero of War hopefully soon?! <3 Edit: Dave grohl actually has been my hero since i found out about Nirvana growing up and i became a drummer in highschool because of him.
