My name is Sarah - join me and my faithful walking companion, Jack Spaniels, as we explore the most beautiful country in the world (mostly on foot!) and find inspiration from the things we see, to take back to my studio to paint.
When I moved up to Scotland several years ago, all I wanted to do was explore as much as possible - but I was held back by an ankle injury. In January 2020 I underwent surgery on my ankle and, after many laps of the local park, I was able to go on proper adventures again!
While I was recovering from my surgery, I re-discovered my love for painting - something I had not done for many years. I decided to start this KZread channel to share these two things that I am passionate about.
So, let's head out and see what we can find!

What a great video! By far the best I've seen with North Berwick. I've climbed the Law a few times, but never when it was that dry. And to have an art class too. Just wonderful!

Atmospheric music Willie well done .. respectful coverage of a very wounding landscape which needlessly cost the blood of so many brave men who followed their heart's and not their heads . The Stewart"s were a bloody family who over many years cost this country ( Scotland and Parliamentary England ) dearly .. just.my opinion .. a family who would unite our Kingdom eventually . You are so talented. You show the painting early on and I think it cannot look any better then you continue on with deeper colourings and it is amazing. Also loved the walk you did. It is the most stunning scenery and if only those walls could talk in that abandoned cottage.

Ahh such a great video!! nice to see Balquhidder in all its glory. Shame you didn't venture to my home village of Strathyre, a stones throw from Balquhidder, the forest is exquisite, but good to see Loch Lubnaig and Callander on the video. I watch your Skye Life channel and only just discovered this channel. Much to my amazement to find you in the village where I live, very cool.
I really enjoy all of your videos but this one was really special as we stayed in Kenmore in 2009. We saw the Robert Burns writing on the chimney breast and the Crannog Centre in full operation. I sure hope they can rebuild it as it was. So many memories, thank you!
