    Great video! I'd love to know what you recommend to use to seal my art project and protect it from the elements. It's a wood based project with oil paints on it, but so far I haven't found good sealants that don't also melt the paint. Debating if epoxy is the best route to go or not.

    I have tried twisting in both directions. Did they change the design of their new pens or something? Or is it just stuck on really tight? I even got pliers and now the plastic is slightly damaged 🙃 but still functional I have water brushes that also twist the opposite direction. I'm suspicious It's so that it's not as easy to take off concerning most people in the world are right-handed.

    Hi, there! I already checked like a lot of videos about this topic and yours help me a lot. However, I’ve been struggling about prices and values for a bit since I do quite a “unique” artwork. Basically, I do framed art pieces based on Simone’s and it is hard to find others to compare a little bit about how other artists make the approach with this kind of artworks.

If you’re not selling your artwork outside of festivals for thousands you won’t be at an art fair. The way to make the most at art fairs is with smaller more affordable items like prints. Thanks for sharing your amazing work! I also have a unique project and question. I am casting white bonded marble statues and need to paint them with colorful artwork, basically using the statue as my canvas. The statue will be placed in a permanent location outdoors in northern USA (cold, rain, snow, heat). I've been using a Maker-Pro primer as the first coat, letting it dry and then painting using Liquitex acrylics (and similar brands). Then I send it to a fiberglass shop who clear coats it for me. After a month outside, the entire paint job just peels off the statue, like a facial mask. What am I doing wrong?

  • @WelzieArt
    @WelzieArtАй бұрын

    Painting on Marble doesn’t really work. That’s why you don’t see it anywhere. Since your painting it you might as well use wood so the paint can bond. If you have a good fiberglass shop you can pour the mold with resin and paint that. But you’re not doing anything wrong. Marble just can be painted

  • @WelzieArt

    It will work, but there is no way it’s going to not get scratched or peel up. Liquitex is water based and won’t bond to the plastic. So anything on top of that will eventually peel off. Phones take a beating. Not many options for paint to stick on permanently
