I did! But before i fiberglassed it tow strap inserts were mounted in the surfboard to have a proper hold for the screws. I don’t recommend drilling into a surfboard unless you have these inserts mounted in. 🤙🏼

How do I attach the piece on the surfboard? Is it screwed into the board?

It’s screwed into a 5 hole insert that is sunk into the board using a router.

A French cleat might be easier. Cool board. 🤟🏼

@@WelzieArt The flag material is 70 polyester, 30 cotton. I was thinking of putting it on a white foam panel with polyester resin over it.

Yep. You can do that. Cotton and poly is fine. Make sure the fabric is ironed out and flat as Possible. Make sure minimal air bubbles between foam and fabric. Often a layer of lam resin first then lam the fabric down. Good luck! Stay inspired 🤙🏼
