Hi Julia - "Senior Pat" here in New Hampshire. Love these cards. The one with the paper napkin of all trees, that you laminated one side might look pretty and muted by using the back side, not the laminated one. I may try that.

Hi Senior "Julia". I was so happy to discover your site and videos. I guess I must be Senior Pat (I'm 74, and still loving life and my crafting). I too have a large mixture of old and new products. From looking on your videos on your site, I think I have found my stamping home. What you do makes so much sense, in the use of your cardmaking stash. So, I have subscribed. I do have a question about a comment you made on this video about the background of your card, and using a stencil from amazon. I have never seen them on amazon. What should I put in the search line? Hi Sue - I wasn't sure why he looked angry. I think if I had perhaps turned the eyes a bit, but they were glued on at that point... I still have the dog in the studio, never could send him out - he's probably permanent LOL!!

They did turn out cute! I thought perhaps it was a bust idea, but then all of a sudden they came around. I like them finished out with the Hero Arts alpha stamps C A T that I added later. Have a lovely week!

Hi Jo and Thank you! I used the Hero Arts alphabet stamps I showed to make the NOEL. I stamped them in a line with about 1/8 inch apart. Then I went back with an alcohol marker and added green around them. It really made the white letters pop. Take care!

Hey there Julia, and happy CHRISTmas in July! 🎄This Christmas in July has become a big thing, and I am even seeing Christmas adds on TV!!! For a moment I thought I slept through several months and woke up in December, however, for me here in Aussie land it is still too cold to be December...LOL! 🤣 As you know Julia, I try and make Christian themed cards for Christmas, but on seeing these beautiful Christmas cards with trees and baubles I am leaning on making several of them to send maybe to other family and friends that don't really appreciate my Christian cards. Mind you I still stand by to claim that "Jesus is the reason for the season" whether in July or December!!! It is good to use up all that coloured cardstock in your stash. I have very little coloured cardstock now, and basically have black and white. If I need a coloured panel, I usually swipe the edges with my chosen coloured ink pad... easy peasy!!! Hi Rita - My nickname is Susie, and most of my family is gone so I never get to hear anyone call me Susie anymore. I'm a senior at 68 years young. So that's how I came up with my channel name. Make sense? LOL
I brought some paper wishes. It was frames, Butterflies and and different shape card bases. I moved and had to box it up. I am going to get it out and use it. Thanks for the ideas 😅😅😅
Moving is a nightmare. We are in the middle of a 2 phase move. Living in a very small interim house while our farm sells. Most of my supplies are in storage.

You are so very welcome. I started this channel to try and encourge everyone to shop their stash and use up some supplies. It will never be a sales channel. I may recommend some products now and again, because I have found them useful. And I buy most of my stamps used so you probably have something similar in your collection already.

Oh those Xyron's have a world of uses! But you are right they are easy to forget. My problem is I never can remember which way up the paper goes in LOL!!!

Oh Rita - I hear you!! Especially those new SU ink pads they are such a challenge. I have those flat end tweezers and lots of times I put the holding end up into the little thumb cut out in the ink pad case and do a little twist to loosen it so I can get it open. That's my only solution. I wish there was a better answer for us all!!

I think they are a wonderful divergence from cards. You use all the same supplies. And then if you can't figure out anything else to do with them - You can make them into a card front! LOL
wow! love how you did this. I have a bunch that I bought from eBay. By the way, how did you remove the rubber off of the block holder was it hard to get off?
Hi Clara - I am glad to find another soul that buys used stamps!! Welcome! I love having the options this re-mounting technique give you. Now, with some stamps the rubber just peels off but others can be a bit problematic. I find a thin dull knife can help you with those, just to get a little starting place to pull the rubber off. If they are really stuck, warm them up carefully with your hairdryer/heat tool. Not too close or too hot. The heat softens the adhesive and they become easier to pull. You can take a gum eraser and get most of the adhesive residue off after they are pulled. And sometimes just rubbing vigorously with your finger will start an adhesive rollup that will pull the rest of the adhesive off too. Every stamp is a bit different, so be prepared for that. I have some now that the previous owner has used some really tacky glue to adhere it to the foam, so wish me luck!!
