Honestly Gigi - That little dog just has my heart! He is in the card rack looking at me now. And he may just be a permanent resident.

Hi Julia, Been doing cards for 20 + years and its hard to find a good channel. You've done it!!! love, love, love your channel! I watch you every morning, with my coffee.(sometimes over & over ) . I also need to use up my scraps (I have tons) and enjoy your tips. And, after COVID, we all need a smile, so these cards do the trick (As a variation, try putting a wobbler under the head to make it jiggle.)

I couldn't send the doog out, the studio claimed him!

These are adorable! The dog is a hoot. I love him and I think adults would like to get him as well as children. You think of so many nice ways to add features and embellishments to these. It's nice to see that we do not always have to make an elegant card. Sometimes the "whimsical ones," like you said can do the trick and make a big impact. I want to try some of these.😉 Thank you for showing us how to make them!❤👍

You are so welcome Beverly! I also really like the Sakura Gelly roll pens, the tip doesn't seem to dry out as fast as the Uni's for some reason, in my studio. And they come in some fabulous colors too. I go through spurts using white pens and then letting them set not in use.

Hi there Julia, Goodness me Julia, you don't waste anything at all do you? I would have thrown out those little scraps from the 2024 date even the centre of the 0. I find it absolutely incredible that you based these cute little cards on those little (useful) scraps. When you revealed your first card, and before you said that it was a mummy..., on seeing it for the first time I thought it was three black jellybeans on a plate... LOL 🤣And I was wearing my reading glasses at the time! All I can say Julia is that you have a wonderful and creative imagination to come up with these whimsical characters. I have never seen a circle cutter like that before, it looks very versatile. I have the Hero Arts nesting dies of many shapes including circles. G'Day Gloria! OK so that cracked me up especially because I happen to be one of those rare people that loves black jellybeans. Really licorice of any kind will do but I am very fond of the black. OK now, I've never had chocolate covered liquorice. I'll be on the lookout for it. There is a hard candy coated pink and white liquorice sweet we used to get at the movies called Good & Plenty that was really good (especially if they were fresh). I haven't thought about those for awhile!!

Hi Sue - I wasn't sure why he looked angry. I think if I had perhaps turned the eyes a bit, but they were glued on at that point... I still have the dog in the studio, never could send him out - he's probably permanent LOL!!
