Hello Julia! SO lovely to have an update from you. My craft area is very small with a similar layout and once you are at your desk working you will be in "the zone" like I am and creating wonderful things yet again. Its just lovely to hear your cheery voice as you show us your progress in the space.

Hi Kaye - I have noticed that once I get to a point where I can find things again, the space becomes "home". We adjust to different space. However most - 98% of all my supplies are in storage, stacked to the ceiling. That may be a challenge. Time will tell!!

Darling Julia hello! ❤ It was so lovely hearing your voice as you talked through where you are at with your new interim studio. It looks like it is going to be a working progress until you shuffle things around to where they best suit you. Great creativity can be found even in the smallest of studios, and I am certain that you will do just fine my friend. I am looking forward to your next download, and until then take care. God's blessings, prayers, love and hugs. Gloria 🤗💐❤

Hello My Friend! It is starting to feel like my studio a bit. A LOT of chaos, but that will resolve in time, with patience. Once we get the farm sold and are actually in Georgia more, things will get easier. Take care of you! Julia

I just found your channel a couple of days ago and have been binge watching your scrap card videos. I love them and will be using your ideas to get rid of all my scraps. Last year, I had to incorporate town and country households plus the remnants not dealt with from my mom passing 5 years ago into a single household. LOL still not finished yet! So, you have my sympathy for your move. In light of our downsizing, I went from a full extra bedroom for crafting to a micro space in my now bedroom/office/crafting room. I had to make some really hard decisions on what I really needed to keep for my crafting (card making, journals, digitals for my journals, a bit sewing). Do I really need all this stuff? Do I need all these paper pads is so many different size most gathering dust? Do I need all these stamps I never use or various punches, dies, and a Cricut? How much ribbon, fabric and lace does a girl really need? Much was passed along to crafty friends, charities, senior centers, and elementary schools to use. All were very grateful for their windfall. And, you know what? I am now better organized, not spending money frivolously, can find things easily and actually now enjoy crafting. I am thousand times happier than I have ever been! Hopefully your temporary move will be an opportunity of enriching your life in ways you never thought possible before. Thank you for sharing your videos, experiences, and knowledge with us!

What a blessing you are Morgaine! Thank you for sharing your story with me. I am feeling very overwhelmed with this move. But, we finally have the farm listing started. And most of the stuff we are moving is either in the interim house or storage unit. We probably have another load or 2. And I totally agree I won't miss the things I destash. It should have been done before the move started. But I couldn't face the studio destash at that point. I was doing the rest of the house instead and made really good progress with that. I'm glad you're here and hope you find a lot of interesting content on the channel. I am putting out a few new videos as time allows. Be Welcome and Come Back Soon!

@@SeniorSusieStamps We close next week on the farm! Yay! Once it warms up, we will have to tackle the garage so maybe I can park back inside by next winter! It will also be a deep purge and it will be slow going and in spirts. You didn’t accumulate everything at once so it takes time to make it go away not to mention dealing with all the history and memories. So, give yourself credit you are human and give yourself a break. I am 64 and my husband is 72 so we have no need for much of this stuff anymore. I am only camping in nice motels these days. The days of sleeping on the ground in a tent are long gone. I discussed with him now is the time to gift his stuff to others so he can see them enjoy it instead of waiting till he is gone. Many in his family are hoarders so it is natural to him to keep stuff. Luckily, we both have come to the conclusion we do not want our family to have to go through what he and I went through dealing with our parents stuff after they passed. Their passing was hard enough then to have the added burden of having to deal with their stuff left behind was a killer. I want family to remember me for me and not my stuff. 😉 Take your time, relax for awhile, do some self care. Me and the kitties have plenty of your older videos to watch, try out for ourselves, and then rewatch at 3 a.m. when kitties think I should be up. LOL Don’t worry about us. We will be here!

Hi MaryJane - Those little white trays come from Dollar Tree - they are called essentials. I have them under and on top of monitor risers. This is the most wonderful system for me. Everything is right in front of me at easy reach. Here is a link to the risers - www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07KY33WB6/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Hi Julia, your studio is looking very inviting. I can see the progress and work you've put into all the details. Quick question, which cart is a good general purpose cart? I have never owned a cart but I think I need one and only have room for one. Take good care and thank you

Oh Lilly - I think that's a great question! I really like the grammercy carts I got from Michaels. They roll very well and hold a lot of stuff. And I use them to hold a bunch of finishing bits & bobs, extra foam tape, glue refills, gems, labels, etc. But since I got them I have been seeing some "Project carts" that have a stack of large trays to hold projects in the process of being finished. So, for me - I would vote for the grammercy because of the way I use mine. Projects don't hang out long enough to warrant a cart in my studio. Hope this helps. And here is a link to mine - www.michaels.com/product/gramercy-rolling-cart-by-simply-tidy-10555398
