I do too!! I really like the torn edge best. But the deckle trimmer gives much better control and it's less frustrating...but that's just me!
Love your cute card! I never remember to go through my stickers for on my cards! I love that you got a stamp from Magnuson for the inside too! How fun!

Yes, when I was shopping for the one you shared I stumbled on this one; and bought both!! LOL
While hot pink isn’t a favorite color of mine, it set this card off beautifully. I have had so many card failures I should have given up trying to make cards by now. Yet, each failure has lead me to new and/or different things. I never valued my failures when I was younger but now that I am much older I am now seeing them as learning opportunities. Like you said in the video ultimately it is just paper. Happy Crafting

@@SeniorSusieStamps I was so surprised when you said you trashed that card, which is so not you. Digging it out to the trash and revamping it is ssssoooo you. Great job!
Hey there Julia, pink has to be one of my favourite colours, and happy to see that you used pink in your card project today. The birthday card is fun, and I loved how you created the background. Just a thought you could also use bubble wrap to smooch colour onto the card panel. As you were placing the balloons on to the card front, I thought a great background would be to ink blend the sky using a cloud stencil. There are so many choices in card making, and it is so fun to play around with ideas. Once you settle in to your 'interim' home it will be fun going out and exploring shops nearby for craft products. I would love to have the opportunity to browse through a dollar tree store, however, that is impossible but a lovely thought. Have a wonderful day whatever you decide to do. God's blessings, love and hugs. 🥰💐❤

G'Day My Friend! I had forgotten pink was your Fave! I know you always like it when I wear my pink shirt. You are totally right the cloud background technique would be great for baloon cards. There is so much possibility it can be a bit daunting at times. I find it best to just start rather than plan out every detail of a project. But I know others who have planned out the layout, done a sketch and the end result is unparalleled. It's just not my style. Tomorrow we are going to visit Gibbs gardens which is about a 1 1/2 hour drive. Here is a link to their website: www.gibbsgardens.com/ Enjoy!!
Cute cards. I always enjoy seeing your tips for backgrounds!.

I agree and it gives you much better control than flipping the card front onto the ink. I think it leaves the paper drier also, and causes less warping.
Really cute card love it

Enjoyed your video. I think you will find a way to save the first card and it will be fine. Cute balloon sticker cards. I like using my deckle trimmer for cards too, every now and then. I will check out the video link for the smosher and the link for the stamp, I like the idea of passing a card along.
